Mate, I don't think it has been released in The States just yet, I think you need to wait a couple more weeks...I'm from OZ, and we won't be seeing it at all here. I know JR-RC (who is a member here) sells them on his ebay store for a reasonable price and super fast shipping from Japan too. Cheers, Drew.

Cheers for the info, 'sounds complex, but I'll give it a try. What sort of printing place do you think I would need to take it to? The decals I have scanned are for a Kyosho 911 slant nose and almost irreplacable. They are the 'immerse in water' type and I am a little concerned about really stuffing things up, hence the scan. Drew.

Hi guys, Any advice greatly appreciated.....I have made a scan (600dpi) of a decal sheet I would like reproduced. How should I go about getting this done? Thanks, Drew.

I don't want to cause a stir, but you really can only give him positive feedback based on his description of the goods. Look carefully means exactly that.....and nobody here is against ending auctions early , are they? Ending auctions early isn't really in the spirit of things either but it is a common occurance. I really can't see what a big deal missing the box liner is anyway, it appears you got it for a good price. I'm sure we've all made some poor puchases/mistakes on ebay, but you either live with them or move them on to someone else through ebay again. Thats my 2 bob, Cheers, Drew.

Got me a new PIAA body set form ebay the other day...Thanks for the heads up Jay. Cheers, Drew.

O my god, whats happened to Tamiyaclub.com
Drewboyaus replied to netsmithUK's topic in Tamiyaclub News
Chris it looks fantastic I'm looking forward to shooting some movies....and Jesterdude, 15 quid ain't that much. Especially when I think of all the deals I've done with other TC members for hard to find stuff. Down here in the southern hemmo, we pay nerly 50 bucks once exchange fees are taken into account, and I still think that is value. Thats just my 2 cents (or 15 quid as it may be) and I guess everyones circumstances are different. Cheers, Drew. -
Who is from Australia / NewZealand then?

Gee my wit gets as sharp as, well... a hammer really after a few brews!![8)] I see you are coming to your senses and moving to Melbourne. Is it for work? -
I was thinking of doing a street version of the Taisan body, especially if the decals are not available any more, though I'd need to do something about the head / tail lights....My new built Taisan GT2 has some light scratching on the roof, and I am REALLY picky about it. If I could find a comlpete bodyset, I'd pay good money. I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled here and on the bay. Cheers, Drew.

Nice one, Thanks mate it didn't come up whenI did a search. Cheers, Drew

I have just emailed Tower, but it is not listed on their site any more.....I hope they can find something on special order. Anyone else? Please........ Drew.
-
Hi all, Anyone with either of the above NIB bodysets please contact me if you are prepared to sell. I am prepared to pay good money, with my preference for the Taisan bodyset. Many thanks for looking and I hope to hear from you. Drew. PS If you have a NIB Taisan complete kit, I would be interested in that too.

I've had a number of dealings with him and found everything with his deals to be excellent except for his email dealings...quite slow to respond and not a great communicator (my suspicion; he is Japanese). But his shipping is outstanding.... BTW don't try to paypal him with Mastercard, it only leads to a world of pain.......Not his fault though, the issue rests with MC. Cheers, Drew.

Well you might think it ends up here, but it's more likely to be that little French villiage where they have been showered with poo from the heavens on and of for about 15 years. I wish I could think of what the place is called, but it made the news here only a week or so again after they announced they would finally start investigating where it was coming from. After 15 years!![)]LOL Now we know....Florida!! Cheers, Drew. -

Sometimes, because of our limited market size here in Oz, parts are very hard to find, therefore I tend to filter through ebay Germany, France, UK, USA, etc to find the bits I need...My real beef is with those rude people who never bother to repond to emails asking a legitimate question about shipping to the rest of the world. I don't think anyone here suffers from any of these problems because being part of such a fantastic site as this gives one a real perspective of the global community.

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but why to some sellers on ebay limit their market to their home country? Its frustrating to find exactly what you are after to then find out it "ships to US only"[V]. I know some sellers will change their mind if emailed, but I have sent emails to some who aren't even polite enough to respond. I know I'm going to get belted for this, but it seems like the USA is the worst culprit (more than likely I'm entirely wrong, but it is a perception)[]. A penny for your thoughts everyone...... Cheers, Drew.

I agree, you've gotta leave negative feedback for this clown[)]. I know what you mean though, I left neutral feedback after some guy I bought a buggy from said I just needed to add radio gear....and I found I needed a motor and all sorts of other bits includung tyres. He replied with a neutral claiming I was slow on payment. If he'd actually bothered to respond to the 15 emails I sent him in 2 weeks about payment details there would never have been a problem....what a ********!

Never had a problem with Aussie post. Some things come a bit slower than others, but I think if you read planethobbiesonline's feedback, you'll find a trail of poor shipping, but it seems it does eventually turn up. I have actually had more of a problem previously with the USPS in 'the states'. Cheers, Drew.

Question about Acto-Power motor
Drewboyaus replied to Drewboyaus's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
Right-o, Installed the new 17 Turn motor and woooh-hoooo. Goes like the clappers now...ever seen a Dynastorm pull wheelies? I'm gonna have to get some video of it 'cause its pretty cool. Anyway I think the acto power is a bit clapped out, but I'm going to pull it apart and see what gives. Cheers, Drew -

Question about Acto-Power motor
Drewboyaus replied to Drewboyaus's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
Cheers, I haven't yet checked to see how hot its running, but I assume it's running the original pinion. That is what it looks like anyway. I've got a new 17 turn motor that I'm going to try as well. It may just be that the previous owner didn't maintain the Acto power too well and its completely clapped out. It just doesn't seem to want to rev!! Thanks, Drew
