  1. @phiber_optik - how did you set up the electronics in the end? I know you asked about an ESC for the original 4-cell battery. Did you set that up or did you go for the 6-cell (then it's no issue with the ESC I assume)?

Considering I only paid with a sixpack for the Jugg, it's still a bargain even with needing to order some parts.

I liked the idea of keeping it original, but it makes no sense to have a monster truck that I can't use.

Then it's just getting on the train and riding off into the sunset ... great! :)

And a monster truck that you can't use sounds ... aah ... useless.

  3. Without getting bogged down in politics, a world of free trade seems somewhat off in the distance I think ... :D

I'd love to have a Jugg, but I am not up to the hassle to trying to find pieces at unobtanium prices - so for me personally, I am thinking:

How badly do you want it?

    And how quickly?

Maybe the middle way - upgrade, drive carefully and in the meantime, wait for the 005759 sprue to show up. Maybe have a look at Buyee?

  4. Perhaps it is a Black Foot, this one? :)

Yes, I see your point - sometimes hot new stuff isn't needed. I had no idea that the Blackfoot had pogo sticks, always thought it was a Monster Beetle truck version.

Still can’t edit my own posts and TC photos only seems to download codes, no pictures. You can’t even click on the code to get pictures!!!

Right upper corner in your post - the three dots - and then "edit" - doesn't that work?

Photos - try pasting the link (no [IMG], [URL]) and see where that leads you? (I posted your photo in the A110 Alpine thread)

  6. @Busdriver just the url copied, without IMG and URL tags, as far as I understand it.

I tried to paste your photo shown above through the "other media" box below right in the edit window, but straight off copying the link into the edit window works too, from my side.

Just this part, inserted [brackets] so that it just shows the code needed:

  7. Ooh, that's a hard question!

The first one that comes to mind is the Kyosho Optima (without any turbo, pro or whatnots). I love those rims and tyres and the low slung style. One day, one day ... maybe.

Tamiya: Och, I am a Wild Willy fan. It's not practical or anything, it just makes me smile.

Tamiya On-road: Mini Cooper. Can the gnomes and elves over at Tamiya hurry up, please?

Yokomo? The 870c for its oddball body shape and but mostly the design idea - the simplicity - less but better. Here is just one (amazing) example:

Ask me another day, and it might be a different answer. And if I have to choose only one, then it's the Optima. :)

  8. So, I go off on an innocent holiday trip ... just for a bit, and what happens? You turn the whole house upside down and throw a party! :D

Seriously, a small note: the tags associated with the threads are pretty hard to read.

And as has been said already, I've turned into a newbie again, whee! Beginners mind, zen mind. ;)

  9. It struck me now, looking at the last photos that the 1:1 truck shown in the post before seems to have something like a metal bar in the area where you now have the sawn-away gap. Maybe that is an idea to copy, to keep it from looking too empty down there?

  10. Digging this up again ... the T3-01 rims don't have a 12 mm hex, but a 10 mm one, okay? Does it make sense to try out the 53342 and drill out the a hexes to fit (expensive, possibly a better option somewhere) the T3-01 rims onto a "standard" axle? I have no idea if the original hole on the hex itself is bigger/smaller. Just a random thought. :)
