there is Knight Customs - https://knightcustoms.com I'm pretty sure he is a member here?, if not I have I have seen images in some of the built threads and part quality looks amazing (Have not bought myself, but now browsing the site, that may change in the near future). He as a VW style engine printable stl for sale.  While the site lets you buy the stl files (not what you want), there also has links to authorised 3D printers that may be of use.

Thanks Yogi!  I'll give this guy a shot!

  2. Do you fine folks know of a highly detailed VW engine w/ some big honkin' carbs and exhaust pipe horns? And no, I'm not buying a 3D printer. lol  I'm trying to work a Sand Scorcher body on a TT02FT chassis.  I think it should look pretty dope when I'm done with it.

    Thank youuuuuu!

I have a 959, it's chassis has all the cracks in the problematic areas.  I've thought about replacing the broken parts, but they're $$$, rare, and.. did I mention $$$?

I'm going to keep it as-is.  Maybe straighten out the bent metal antenna, and put it up for display on the shelf.

A cheaper alternative is the MCI Racing re-production chassis.  Has anyone tried it?

I have one of the MCI 3D printed chassis on the way.  Should deliver any day now.  I'll do a comprehensive unboxing for the Forum once it arrives.

Hello and welcome! I'm voting for the Celica. I restored one myself and am curious about the condition of the fragile suspension parts on your chassis. I couldn't find replacements online that time, so I ended up building all the suspension arms from styrene. The rest of the cars seem to be in good condition and they probably just need cleaning and repainting. Is the Bruiser missing its body ?

No, the Bruiser doesn't have a body. Picking one up shouldn't be too difficult.  The right front arm on the Gr.B is snapped.  I haven't gotten into disassembling it yet to see what else is trashed. I did manage to score a new set of front suspension arms off of fleabay not too long ago.  I neglected to mention I have another 959 that I'm going to use to scrounge parts.
