  1. Well I've decided to let go of these treasures as well since I'm totally out of RC's. Here are 2 Tamiya binders with 55 manuals plus exploded views, parts lists, etc. There are some very hard to find manuals in here such as the Mountaineer, Porsche and Celica rally car, skyline, king cab, plus there are the usual Clodbuster, Bullhead, Blackfoot, etc... I'm looking at $350 plus shipping. Paypal only.

  4. Maybe it was brass I couldn't really remember which one it was since I built mine 2 years ago but I knew I didn't want any issues with the pinion and went straight to the RRP pinion.
  5. List updated with pics...
  6. The lathe motors are normal 540 size motors so no worries there. Even if you don't change the pinion size I would still recommend replacing the stock pinion. I replaced mine with an RRP hardened steel pinion so I don't have to worry about wearing down the soft aluminium stock pinion and then having to tear half the truck apart to replace it.
  7. List updated, prices dropped....
  8. Depending on which one's you need they will either be 3mm or 5mm LED's. Just find one's that run on the same voltage as the stockers do and go from there. But you won't be able to just buy a kit this is a DIY thing.
  9. A vote for deans as well here. And if you are in the UK there's a guy that sells them in black, green, red, orange and blue if memory serves me. But I've used them on everything for pretty much 12 years without one issue. I've seen guys have wires fall off but that is due to back soldering or using the wrong type of solder. I did run powerpoles for a while but after a while they do start to loose contact on the face and have a tendancy to corroide.
  10. Knowing Tamiya the Futaba radio will be the standard since they've used it on all their tanks, trucks, etc... You can use a flight radio and change the module to a surface but the only problem with flight radios is the left stick is not a self centering. They are a ratchet up and down. Some of them you can order a kit from the manufacturer to make them self centering but then of course you need to open up the radio and do the mod yourself or pay someone to. The truck it self shouldn't need anymore then a 4 channel, front steering, rear steering, 3-speed and speed control. If you get the MFU for all the light functions and sounds you will still only need the 4 channel since the MFU allows multiple functions from only a 4 channel radio.
