This is some if the literature that came with the carbon fiber upgrades today.
-
Check out this 3d printed chassis designed for lipo batteries on eBay, item 256661413221.

RCMart delivered today some Carisma Racing carbon fiber goodies for my C11 build. Gonna need some 4x5mm spacers for the top plate and a way to mount the shock on the rear plate.

I used the #53150 F103 turnbuckle set that comes with 42mm steel turnbuckles. This setup will go on my upcoming 956 build and will be replaced by two 42mm aluminum turnbuckles #54250 (blue bling), 4 blue aluminum 5mm ball connectors #53640 held on with 3mm titanium screws and using the 5mm low friction ball connectors #53601. Used the Tamiya hi torque servo saver #51000 too. I’d like to find the right Kimbrough servo saver for it though.

Body mount pics. Adjustable body mounts (like on an RC10L) would be nice.

If I tried to trim the splitter so thinly again using only lexan scissors I probably wouldn’t get it so straight again. I used some blue masking tape on the sides to help get the sides straight too.

Mounted and trimmed the body today-got it nice and low.

Good guess! I originally ordered a decal sheet for a 1/10 DTM Opel, but will end up printing my own graphics so they fit perfectly. It was pretty easy to do-you can find pretty much any sponsor logo on gran-turismo.com in order to create custom liveries for Gran Turismo 7.

No, but I will give you a hint: it’s going to be yellow and have the same sponsor as another yellow racing Mercedes from the 90’s.

Does anyone know what the purpose of these two little tabs that get attached to the chassis?
-
Blue wheel nuts on the right, red on the left.

The titanium screw kit (which ia a set for the Tamiya BBX) had almost every screw on the car except for the 4x42mm and 4x25mm-those were separate. The other screws that the set didn’t have was the 3x18mm csh screws for the t-plate (I was able to use a shorter screw on the front of the t-bar) and the two 3x30mm used to mount the rear wing mount to the chassis.
