Thank You everyone for your suggestions. I finally got it going. I unplugged the tabs on the ESC and put them back as before not sure if it did anything. I put the original motor back in and noticed the screw was in the "22" hole. The motor gear has 22 teeth. I connected the new motor to the "22" hole and it worked fine. Also i rested a Large hammer against the car to send it a message. Thanks Again

Hello everyone. Thanks for all the suggestions. I am not sure how it happened but the car seems to be working OK now. I put the original motor back in and it worked. I also unplugged the connections on the ESC and put them back in the same spot, not sure if that did anything. Also i leant a big hammer against the car overnight to give it a message. lol. Just another thing which i'm not sure if it means anything. The screw on the original motor was connected to "22" on the mounting plate . It has a 22 tooth gear. I also tried the newer motor connected to the "22" hole on the mounting plate and it worked fine. Thanks again.

The Motor spins freely. On the Motor mounting plate do numbers mean something. The original motor has the screw in 22.?? The cog on the motor has 22 teeth. Regards

Hello skom25. I am looking into Lipo Batteries. I might go for a 5000mAh, NiMH and see how it goes. I am using a 3000 at the moment. Thank You.

Thank you all for the Info. I was going to get bearings and will look into the Lipo Battery. The motor gets very hot and there is a smell coming from the car/motor. I am using a charger that has 2A Charge Current and Max Output Power 20W. The charger is a G.T.Power N802. The battery i have is a 3000mAh/NiMH. I connectecd the battery and pressed the start button. It charges for a few minutes and two green lights flash . I started it again and it stayed on for a lot longer. Approx 2 hours total . The car travels about 2 metres/5 Seconds before it slows down and then crawls. Thanks Again.
  6. Hello. Just a question about speed. I bought a First Try R/C Kit. TT02 Chassis. It has a RS 540 Motor in it. I replaced it with a RS 540 Sport Tuned. I have noticed it starts off fast for a short time and then slows. The battery is fully charged. The Controller/Transmitter is an aftermarket one as with the Speed Controller and Receiver. I have put the original motor back in but not tested it yet. Should i have bought the Tamiya Controller or are there aftermarket ones that are just as good or better. The Controller i have is a Fly Sky FS-GT2 with receiver FS-GR3E,3 Channel/2.4G and the Speed Controller is a Hobbywing Quicrun 1060 brushed Electronic Speed Controller. I was told it was plug and play . I am in australia so not sure about importing things in. if someone can point me in the right direction it would be good. Regards Big Be.
  7. I would like to know how long it takes to fully charge a 30000mAh battery. It is going in a TT02 chassis. Thank You
