Im beggining to get back into the hobby and wanting to know what transmitters people recommend or ones to avoid. Im not looking for anything over £100Gbp mark, and wanting a stock transmitter. A few people have said the Flysky FS-i6x which is within my buget but what about radiolink etc? I just want to keep my options so I dont have to replace the trasmitter. I was looking at the RadioLink T8FB-BT and the Microzone MC8B. Thanks.

Got my Tamiya ESC 1060 today to fit and the switches are different. What have people done in this situation? -

Cheers for that must admit the Flysky FS-i6x does not look bad as just only slightly out my budget. Assume this would work with the Horrywing 1060? -

Cheers for the advice, I assume there is very little out there thats already setup for RC cars and not planes? Do like the FS-i6 certainly looks alot better. I doubt that I would need many channels tbh. -

Thank you good to know its one of the better ones, will strip the gearbox down I think give it a good clean out with fresh gearbox lube. Would something like the Flysky Fs-I4X be okay?, im guessing you only need 2channels for most RC Cars? Would I be correct in assuming you can use 2ch receivers with a 4ch transmitter? Was also looking at the Absima SR4S. Sorry for prob some noob questions here. -
Recently got my Super Blackfoot from my parents house with the idea to restore it back to working condtion. Now its missing a few pieces that I need mainly being the bodypanel mounts front and rear, any idea where I could get some replcements or alternatives from? Secondly I want to remove all the orignal electronics from it and use some of the more current stuff. I was thinking of using the Tamiya/ Hobbywing 1060 RTR ECS. However I also want to replace the Transmitter and Receiver does anyone have any recommendations? Ideally I want something I can use accross the other Tamiya RC cars I have so I can use the same reciever for the different cars. The controller I would prefer with the traditional left and right sticks. Also should I stick with the stock motor that came with it, or replace it with something newer? Im not bothered about the brushless ones as they are only going to be used occasional and fun. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
