  1. Hi all,

Long time reader, first time posting.  A little back story, I was huge into RC cars having a Hornet, Hotshot, Porsche 959, a couple of F102s, TA01 E30 M3, 3 juggernauts, and a Wild Willy 2.  I switched to racing Team Losi and then it all stopped because of work and other activates.  I sold everything except the Juggernauts and the WW2

Last year I got back into the hobby with my 9 year old son.  We got an Arrma Notorious and Losi Gravedigger, they are a blast to bash, amazing how much tech has changed with brushless and Lipo batteries.  Durability is incredible.....

A couple months ago, my son asked about "the RC graveyard"  I pulled out all the jugg parts and we started talking and he asked if we can make it into a 6 wheel monster, I said "sure"

I found a 3D model in GrabCAD, that is kind-a accurate.  I'm going with a 16" wheelbase from front to middle wheels and 8" from middle to rear.

I think I need to lower the chassis as I do not remember the center diff having that much clearance from the ground. (Does anyone have a measurement?)  I thought I remember the links being almost level to the ground

I'm thinking about adding the mounts to the top of the axle like a TXT-1, so been first working on the gear mesh, next is the shaping and mounts.

I'm also working on the center gear housing.  I wanted to add a center diff like modern RC cars, so I redesigned the housing to work with a Notorious center diff, since that already uses a Mod 1 gear.

This is going to be a long process as I'm also teaching my son about gear ratio, CAD, suspensions, etc
