  1. possibly... needabiggershed.com is working on a decal sheet as is a forum member. Who knows with which company they partner for the actual printing.
  2. Do not buy either as better options will be available soon.
  3. Yes, my Lancia 037 on the TA03RS Chassis, bought and assembled in 2002 did cack. Many plastic chassis parts with self tapping screws just split open. I have never driven this car in anger an it just sits on a shelf and looks pretty. No problems at all with a just slightly younger TA05.
  4. Arrived yesterday from TAMICO. I am going to build car number 3 (obviously) and car number 1. No point in building car number 2 as it did not finish in Le Mans 1983 . The included decal sheet is a bit disappointing. The print quality is great including metallic gold. But the stickers for the radiator opening are missing a lot of details and are mostly just solid black. Even more annoying (to me at least) are the many missing sponsors. I do get the "Racing" instead of the tobacco brand, but what about tires, fuel, fashion and most crucially the legendary WEC-Logo and Le Mans class sticker? Yes, it does not say "Le Mans Winner" on the box. But we all know on which year and configuration of the 956 this kit is based on. Let's see, what I can do about this. (Also the new MCI-Decal sheet is missing these sponsors).
  5. Yes! I received email confirmation this afternoon that my two kits have been shipped from Tamico.
  6. Yes, the two cockpits arrived this afternoon in Europe. Dino from Radical Retro R/C was really quick packing them and also easy to contact via email, highly recommended.
  7. No, still waiting. But two repro cockpit sets should arrive tomorrow from Florida. And maybe even the upgrade parts from needabiggershed are ready before Tamico ships the kits. Oh well, there is this big box containing the parts for a blue Toyota waiting on my workbench....
  8. Within the city limits there is Wieser Modellbau: Wieser Modellbau 25 minutes by train or car in Wetzikon (very knowledgeable and helpful): SCAMORA 30 to 45 minutes by car (that must be like visiting your neighbour) the aforementioned Hobby Shop Hässig. The biggest of these three shops with the largest selection (also bits and parts) in stock. Just be sure to check the opening times as the Swiss are very serious about their lunch break.
