Hey...newbie here so apologies if there is a dedicated section for this where I should be posting. Let me know.
When I was a kid in the late 80s/early 90s, my dad and I were heavy in to RC cars. He had a number of the full RC cars (and I still have my Tamiya Falcon I got one Christmas), but given how expensive they were, I also got in to the mini models and collected those you see in the photo.
I left home in 1997, left them behind and over time completely forgot about them.
My dad passed away and as part of my mum doing a bit of a clear out, she stumbled on them in the loft, all safely wrapped up in bubble wrap and tucked away in a box.
Despite some drive issues, they look as if I bought them yesterday and have truely taken me back and reminded me of some great times.
I was oblivious to the fact that mini 4WD racing had become so popular again, and I'm now intrigued to know whether the vintage models carry interest in the racing scene and whether they are good for modification and/or whether they have any collectable value.
Also, is there a diffinitive model catalogue I could reference to try and determine accurate model numbers?
