Looks so cool!. I am going to do the one for the Vanessas lunchbox junior. There is some files on thingiverse for 3D printing.
Some new tool on my kit, that I added recently and I absolutely recommend as a must, and it is very cheap is a 3D printing pen.
Recently on retrofitting any cheap RC cars with hobby grade, I have done extensive use of 3D pen capabilities, to make any short of bracket, rod, filling gaps or anything you can imagine.
IE: the main difficulty is always removing the steering mecanism to fit a hobby servo for proportional steering, this always involve loads of fidling, bending plates, making brackets out of thin metal... now with the 3D pen, just position the servo
where you think is the best place and start pouring melted plastic around until you fill al the gaps. Once cold, remove, and you just made a perfect bracket in an instant. And this is just one example. Cheers!
