  1. GPM racing for the hubs. Got them off Amazon. The seem to fit good but the ball joints from the HS2 kit seem a bit tight/stiff when I move the hubs around. I greased them a bit when installing them, and the front arm assembly was hard to screw down over the front ball joint! Was frustrating!!
  2. Ok understood! I appreciate your help big time!! The radio transmitter in the picture is what I purchased. With gyro function. Unsure of what exactly the function of that is for my buggy?
  3. Is it ok to message you on how to do that when I reach that point in my build? Just completed the front and rear diffs. Front ball joints seem a little tight/stiff. Will probably assemble the carbon fibre chassis today or tomorrow. Then I think I can set up the servo link arms etc...on it.
  4. What kind of lubricant? I'm new to the hobby and have this issue with the front arm suspension ball end joints of my re re HS2 build.
  5. I guess I'm learning that as well. I was wondering if I need to put some kind of washers on the rods with the c-clips installed on the lower suspension arms pivot points, with the little bit of space shown the picture shown? I pushed one end of the rods right against the chassis to show how far the other side with clips would be from the chassis. Should both sides be flush/tight against the chassis/& or a type of washer, so as to have no space as shown?
  6. Awesome!! Thank you. This is my first build since I was a kid, so I'm winging it as best as I can. Plus to make things fun and challenging ( difficult) I'm building with many hop ups and modifications. Next is building the carbon fibre chassis and fitting everything else to it. 🫣😅 Question: the carbon arm holder set shown in the picture. I put the long ones in the lower pivot points of each suspension arms, back and front. The 4 shorter ones are too short for the top of the back inside suspension arms pivot point. Maybe they are for connecting the rear knuckle to the arms? They seem to be more in measurement to the screw for that application? Also the small carbon fibre brace thing in the picture, I'm unsure where that goes on the build?? Any help or advice is appreciated. I sent a message to the buyer on ebay but they were of little help.
  7. Inexperienced and started my Hotshot II build with some modifications/upgrades. Just wanted to know so far if I need to rotate my motor, so the wires can access the other electronics better or is it ok in its position shown?
  8. Bought this upgrade for my Hotshot II re re build , and being new / a rookie I don't know where it goes on the build?! Lol!! Help!! I'm lost. I thought it would go in the screw pin holes as an upgrade substitute but I don't think the measurements are correct. Plus it has a carbon fibre brace which I have no clue where that goes as well. Any pictures showing them installed etc....would be awesome!!
  9. Will see how this servo works in the Hotshot. Will change it out if it's too much for the build. As for the carbon fibre chassis it can hold the dimensions of the battery shown.
  10. Anyone have any feedback/knowledge about this battery below?: ****NHX RC 2S 7.6V 5200mAh 150C + Graphene LiPo-HV Battery (2) w/ XT60 Hardcase
  11. Very good information to know. Thank you! I only bought 2 of the Tamiya high torque super savers so far. Might purchase also the Kimbrough brand. Do you know of a another aftermarket brand to recommend and look into?
  12. Excellent! I already have a couple ordered and on it's way. I guess using a 25kg servo was a bit of overkill?
  13. I am using a HOBBYWING Hobbywing EZRUN MAX10 G2 Combo (80A ESC + 3652 G3 Motor), Zeee 2S Lipo 7.4v 80c, 5200mAh battery and ANNIMOS 25kg/0.05s Brushless RC Servo Arduino Fast Steering Motor Digital Full Metal Gear Waterproof. Will be using a carbon fibre chassis for the Hotshot II re re build, purchased on Ebay as shown in pictures.
  14. Building a re release Tamiya Hotshot II modified build and Kyosho Optima Pro. Are servo savers recommended for both builds? Also can I use a higher powered Zeee 2S Lipo Battery 8000mAh 7.4V 100C Hard Case for the builds?
  15. Can anyone tell me about servo savers? Is it needed on my re re HS2 build etc....? Also if it's ok to use Zeee 2S Lipo Battery 8000mAh 7.4V 100C Hard Case in my vintage build set up?
