Hi That's the big question, the thing is no one wants to be the first to find out. I guess when I order a new chassis for my Grasshopper I will let everyone know.

Hi I'm working on my Konghead thinking about what color I want to paint it when I'm done building it and a old paint job I did on a body for a Kyosho Turbo Optima Mid SE popped in my head. This was back before I knew anything about how to properly paint RC lexan bodies. At the time I only had a jar of Testors red model paint and a can of black latex spray paint to use as backing. I used the whole jar and hand painted the body red all in one go, that much paint takes a while dry and I did not like waiting at the time so I went ahead and sprayed a thick coat of the black latex on next. Can you guess what I had to do for nearly a week, wait for the Testors paint to dry, the latex paint dried pretty quickly and because of that the paint job looked cool. The end result was the body looked like it was molten lava. When the latex dried it contracted and clumped the red paint up with thin jagged black lines around each red clump. This is what I am thinking of doing to the Konghead body, I would try it with proper lexan body paint but I am not sure how I would go about recreating that look. I guess I could use liquid body ask. So what do you guys think about that kind of paint job?

I like the looks of the wild one/Fox wheels. I like these too, did you have to use the Scorpion rear wheel hubs in-order to mount the rear wheels?
-
Hi I'm interested in trying out some 2.2 in. wheels on my Hornet Evo and I was wondering if anyone knows what other non Tamiya brand of wheel will fit?
-
Hi Here is what I just put on mine, Tamiya hornet one piece 1.9 rims and Tamiya Scale All Terrain Rock Crawler Tires 9445529.

Hi I would try cutting them down my self, but unfortunately the last time I tried they didn't turn out right, and my hands have only gotten more shaky since then. -

Hornet EVO Build - write up on page two.

Hi My solution was to add thick spacers between M5 and the chassis to get M5 to fit without bending, and I shimmed the wipers. There is absolutely no binding, dragging or rubbing against any other parts. Another thing to do is up grade the 3x34 mm steering turnbuckles to 3x50 mm turnbuckles, the stock ones are just too short. -

Hi I have 1 on a shell and that is my Grasshopper. -
Hi First question: How are the upper front shock mounts supposed to be oriented? I can not get them setup where they do not put tension on the shock caps, The only thing I can think of to eliminate the tension problem is to use a hollow ball mount in place of the brass tube. Second question: Are the rear shocks supposed to be too long? If I move the X11 spacer to inside the shock body it will be the right length.
