  1. Ha, we ladies always work it out in the end! But thankyou so much, really great advice. I did look at the dirt master too, but i still just cant bring myself to like the body!
  2. They look quite similar. Im guessing td2 is 2 wheel drive and td4 is 4 wheel drive? Anyway, im currently building the Optima Turbo which like the Egress, im really enjoying the challenge. But.. after that's finished, im considering buying the td2 or 4. Really love the body yet hate the driver, those wheel guards and those front wheels/tyres on TD2! Think ive talked myself into buying the TD2!
  3. I really like the Top Force body, but not the box art colours tho! Red or pink is what i would personally choose.
  4. Ah thankyou so much, very informative and helpful advice. Really grateful.
  5. Haha, that made me smile yet sad as so true!
  6. Cannot seem to aim/shoot or drive straight when playing a PS5 game, so no chance whilst trying to use a type of controller with a steering wheel! Tried to do figure of eights to get used to the steering, but the wheel just seems so sensitive with even the slightest touch. Was inexpensive around £40, so may have to invest in another one or maybe try a stick controller instead. Can anyone please recommend or advise of a decent controller, preferably under £100? Guess its just practice practice and more practice!
  7. No Idea! Heard 2s and 3s mentioned when referring to Lipo, but unsure what that actually means. Also heard however that Lipo Batteries have the advantage of lasting longer and improving speed etc? But which one to purchase? So many different brands with different sizes and volts. Im struggling to choose! Have a Tamiya Egress.
  8. Ha, i was already insane and bonkers before starting this new hobby!
  9. A virtual hug for you and your brother too. x
  10. Sending you a virtual hug! x
  11. Yes definitely, thankyou. Its that 'me' time that is just so addictive! And healing.
  12. Still makes me smile when think of Toilet roll gate, during lockdown. Hilarious!
  13. ..is exactly what i got whilst building my first rc car. The build its self was just so daunting and challenging, yet relaxing, de-stressing and therapeutic. I was so happy to finish and happy with the end result, yet sad that my therapy session was over! Yes, this may be an expensive hobby but the learning and understanding of a new kit far outweighs that. x
  14. Ah, thankyou all for sharing your creative artwork for your cars. Many great ideas here too. I personally got so much more satisfaction in creating something unique and which i like too, than the box art. But do still understand others who prefer just box art, especially with maintaining the history of RC Cars too. Its freedom of choice of course, and thats a positive good thing. x
