as long as it is the same type of lacquer as the paint ie acrylic i used car spares shop lacquer on my bruiser but if it a glass shine your after try 2k clear i have used it on both my truck shells with amazing results even without having to sand or buff

i grew up with xj6's and daimlers plus many other jags as my dad had many of them

ha ha thanks tbh i do still have my original top-force and would love tamiya to release the fable'd one the evo as i didn't get it the first time round due to cost . i was getting the escort mk2 but i don't like the small chassis and the shells that come one them as they look shrunk to me so i will have to do with my mk2 i have on my tt-01 chassis. but what i think i will get is gonna be in stock until feb/march next year and i think it will take me to tonys place of worship as he gave me a fantastic price on the re/re topforce and manta-ray plus my reefa trailer so i hope he will come through again. i already have the 2 srb's and a couple of trucks plus the bruiser and i cant really top them tbh apart from the tf evo(witch i hope for every year)

i am thinking i may get myself a piece of tamiya royalty and anything else that takes my fancy

you know what ....with how my memory is recently (really really bad) i cant remember what i did i would have to take the gearbox apart to see what i did but you can def change the motor ... i mean why would tamiya release the tr tuned truck motor(witch i have in both my trucks) i wpuld say they can't be bothered to update the destructions

why not consider automotive paint and you will get the colour you need mixed up

when you take a pic look at the top of the screen and you will a arrow type of thingy ... now when you rotate the camera the arrow should point the way you intend the picture to be. on my phone it is in the middle of the top of the phone and it is in the shape of a lightning bolt and you will see it rotate when you turn the phone if this does not match the position you intend to take a pic then it will take it of what ever the arrow/bolt is pointing

thanks the only real old school items there are the graphic from the 80's and the digital timer from the early 80's yeah i brought them all at the same time back in 2006(i think) and i made sure i could get the cassette deck before i got the rest. for me tunes played on a/via computer(mp3) can never sound better then a hi-fi and the same you wont get a better sound from a phone compared to a walkman esp if one has a graphic on it i do have a 70's set up also that is in the bedroom a pioneer receiver and jbl speakers that i had to re-foam and recover the cabinets and i will never sell them plus i am amassing a collection of cassettes deck also for some reason

when i brought mine from my lhs a few years back i think i payed between £15 and "20 for a pair back then plus the £15 ish for the tyres a pair also to match so £30 aint so bad tbh and you do really have to by the hpi tyres to match them aswell as they are a funny size and if i remember also i had to special order the tyres from hpi if you go back a few pages you will see the photo i put up with them on my mk2 escort

if that is a factory merc colour them go to merc and by a can or find the paint code and name them go to a automotive paint supply and ask them to make a can for you

i hope if they do use minilite wheels they make them the same as i have for my escort on my tt-01 chassis deep dish baby and not throw in a set of mini wheels that will ruin the look
