Opps sorry double post

Test fitted my escort mk11 rs1800 shell with the mini lights I got from my lbs the weekend. While waiting in for the local council to come and replace a roof tile that got blow of in the night (that just missed my car).only for them to completely bodge it up buy fitting it with silicone and leaving a huge gap.

Well I have not long ago watched his latest video for his cc_01 lowering kit video and on his bench in the background he has both the bruiser and the agrios next to each other

It was the choice between the bruiser or a 4x4 highlift. And was told I would regret buying a highlift instead of the bruiser So the bruiser won and the good price my lhs has gave me it would be rude not to be make up there offer. But I gotta wait a month or so before I order it as I've already got a grandhauler a re re Willy's wheeler and another kit on order from them witch have to be paid for first And hopefully they start arriving in next week.

Its that video bruiser in the mountain IMO the best rc video I've seen and should be used by tamiya for publicity. I had the same kind of quandry a couple of weeks back and the good folks on here pointed me in THE RIGHT direction. The BRUISER direction.

The surface depends tbh sometimes on the local park (grass) or a car park there is not a track by where I live so it will never see anything like that

Tbh I doubt it they are absema shocks and only cost £20 for the four

I might forgo using the decals and paint them on instead. The release date here is second week in April letsbhope it don't get put back again seeing it should have been Feb 25th to start with

The rust affect is OK but why does the paint look like it just been painted I mean if you put that much rust on then match the rest of The paint to match the unlooked after look. An is it me or am them flames decals. The rest of the paint looks great esp the roof

I did fill them with tamiya soft oil and they still seem,d to hard to me I also have some associated 20w oil and that seems Thicker than the tamiya soft one and as the shocks are fitted to a lunch box hey are naturally bouncy anyway . I need to find a thinner/softer oil than tamiya soft . The front is fine with the half full tamiya soft oil but the back using the same setup as the front is still hard

It reverse to when you paint a poly shell

For running is it necessary or the shocks to have oil in them Or on the other hand can you run with the shocks half full. The reason I ask is cause I have swiped the stock ones in my lunch box for absima and when I Installed them today hey was solid so I empty,d the oil and it was really thick So I tryed them with no oil and they was,nt far from the stock ones then I half filled them with tamiya soft oil. Know I ain't run it yet so don't know how it will handle .

Mastino where did you get that rear red stabilizer bar from and do you have 95mm on the front also Mr crispy I took the manual with me to my lhs

Just found one on utube and he was using 85mm So it a toss up between 75 80 or85 mm either way I looks like the 95mm one are a dead stick will take them back the weekend And come away with either on of the 3 sizes

Come on surely someone knows the answer to this

Looking into swoping the standard shocks got some 95mm absima shocks from my lhs the weekend but trying them by the original ones they look to long what size is the aftermarket ones

Nothing rc related as I had a hospital appointment for a ct scan but brought absema shocks for my lunch box yesterday so might swop them tonight or tomorrow

Well after watching a film by Matteo rc movies called tamiya bruiser in the mountains on you tube using his bruiser in the Alps I,m sold just need to pay for the other kits I ordered first then its going on order hopefully next month

Right OK sorry it has took so long but I haven't had the chance to get on here that much lately The measurements for the front grill are wing to wing length 6inch and 2mm long The height is 23mm The rear lights are 30 mm long And 10mm heigh I will try and get a photo and post it but every time I try that it won't work for me Many thanks

I've got a bit of a dillema. I've had a great price from my lhs for a bruiser and told them to get it in for me in a month. But looking at it I am undecided as to having the bruiser or getting either the Toyota tundra Ford f350 Mounteneer Hilux Know to me what seems a lot of money for not a lot of truck (bruiser) you seem to get better value for money on the other 4x4's. Know I don't plan on puting the mfu in witch ever one i buy will put a separate light set in and connect to the ESC. Know what are the pro's and con's on these trucks
