  1. My sons first build with my help was the lunchbox he was 8 at the time I wanted this for him as its good both on and off road he chose the colour scheme and decals we both enjoyed the build
  2. Funny u should say u work in the window industry as I used to work for eurocell and they sold soudal sealants. I could take the shell to my work and seal it together but if the director comes over witch he does a lot it would be like the worlds about to end so I ain't even going there tbh I ain't worth the hassel esp for what I,d use . So I need to find the answer
  3. At my work they use a sikaflex sealant also its black in colour but don't know if its okay o polycarb tbh. Know I presume this sealant method has been done after painting . And if so does it affect the paint in any way
  4. Brought a pandora nissan skyline r33 gtr shell today for my son and the front and rear bumpers need to be attached to the main shell. Now there really ain't a lot of room for marrying the pair. What is the best way of doing this as I ain't got a clue seeing I have never had a shell in which this has had to be done before.
  5. Funny you say that about your wife but I bet this is the start of a collection. Once you've restored it you,ll want another and another until you,ll need a man cave to keep them in. I have the re-re and have still yet to run it I have run my re-re sand scorcher though only on a car park.
  6. I do like the 70,s shells tbh and they make some nice ones. As anyone fitted a pandora shell to a tt_01 and if so what offset wheels you used
  7. I have tamiya shells that have cracks in them without even using them so tbh that don't bother me anyway if they split orcrack then That's an excuss for me to buy another. I like to replace shells tbh at will een if they ain't damaged. But unfortunatly either tamiya or hpi do old skool shells like pandora does.
  8. My son just showed me a facebook page and omg are their some nice drift shells on there so I found their site but can't find a uk seller. Any one had one of their shells and if so where from. Know it as to be a uk seller .
  9. Started building a 20year old revell ghost rider trike model for my bro,s work mate
  10. The rc6 vsp charger does come with a load of leads bit also brought an adaptor for the sig lighter as and a pack of deans connctors and an aextension lead for the battery when chargeing as the one that comes in the box is to short
  11. Spent the morning washing gravel ready to replace the sand in the fish tank while the wife empty,d and cleaned the tank faster then I could clean the gravel. That's a job I dont want to do again. Then did a trip to my lhs to get a longer senser lead for the brushless set up but they did,nt have one in so back there next week. Then to the aquarium shop for supplys.
  12. Or and covered car park would do also I always wanted a f1 came close to the 6 wheel when it was re re. But upon lookin at it I did,nt like it for me the one I would like was mansels version
  13. I brought the overlander charger a few weeks back from my lhs for about the same as modelsport . Hav,nt used it yet but movei from the 80,s charger the rico with the rotary knobb on it for fast charging. This wil be a thousand times better once I can remember on how to use it
  14. Sound thank u very much that's just given me an excuse to visit my lhs the weekend again the wife will be a moaning at me agai for waiting for ages in the car while I,m in the lhs he he
  15. Finally started to get this thing in my truck know. Sushed out how to conect the wire from the esc to the motor by pulling the conections out of the motor. Then looked in the box and saw a black wire with what looks like computer conections on both ends in there know this conects from the motor to the esc but where I have to put the esc , its to far away from the motor for this lead to fit. As any one else had or got this problem . Is there a longer one available or an extention available as this has put the kybosh on me getting up and running
  16. Another trip to my lhs today and I took the stadium blitzer with the motor with me. And as soon as the owner herd it he called over a tamiya know it all( I don't meen that in a bad way at all) and straight away he said it called cogging, it will do it when pushed by hand but will be ok when power is applyed so nothing to worrie about . So at that good news I decided to buy a ew hop ups for my tt01. So a busy day tommorrow .
  17. Right ok I decided to try it in my tt01 and I have got the same noise from that also
  18. Know that's propper bo I tell theeee
  19. I noticed the noise when the truck was pushed forward and backwards by hand not spinning the wheels by hand I have run low turn brushed motors years ago inu my topforce and never noticed that kind of noise before The esc is sensored but I have not put any thing else in the truck yet no esc no wire loom nothing only the motor no wires on that either
  20. I already do offer up the motor first as l don't always trust the motor pinion adaptors and the instructions . It is one thing I have learn,t since my first build in 1989. I actually move the pinion while in situe if it allows. In this case I tryed a fare few different possions even placing the motor into the hole and hand held the motor against the gear and pushed back and forth but still got the same noise
  21. Tbh that is one thing I never give thought to change unless for speed
  22. No I am using the kit pinion 13 tooth one and the grub screw is the same
  23. The motor is a speedpassion 9.5r made by schumacher racing it come as a combo set with the esc The motor mount screws are the stock that came in the kit 3x30mm screws
  24. Ok I decided to move up to a bit of technology and buy mself a brushess setup. So I took a trip to my lhs last week and set myself up with everything I need. Today I thought I would instale it into my stadium blitzer I put the motor in first and I rolled it forward and backword to see it I got the pinion right on the gear and it made a noise like the pinion was,nt sitted correctly on the gear so I took it out and checked it and all seemed fine so I put it back in and it made the same noise again. So I swoped the motor for the stock one to see if that one made the same noise but that was all smooth and with no noise so I put tye brushless back in pushed the truck back and forth again and it made same noise again . As any one had this problem
  25. Being a vanessa lover with a yellow box art and a gold edition ,I'm a fan of yours also I like the shock mod I've gone for the rear ally wheel hex huds on mines as the plastic ones perished sitting on the shelf. I will be doing the allt body mounts soon then the shocks will follow
