my wife recently brought a run around for her to get to and from work.
and over the last week the car park at her work has been target'd by pikey kids mainly throwing bricks at the staff cars and braking into them so she said she wont risk takeing it to work so put me on the insurance so i could drop her off. know i have not drove a car since my car got took of the road nearly 4 years back.
every time i go in the car i get cut up not given way to and so on i did buy the wife a dash cam last year and i will not go anywhere with out it on.
i recon the driving instructors and also the test examiners have a lot to answer for for alowing these idiots on the road
i used to drive for a living and i thought i was bad then but boy that was nothing compared to the clowns on the road these days

oh i don't know.. not far of tbh
tbh i have been watching this live feed for over a year and saw them there for around 2 weeks but this year after the snow melted they have been their practically every day for the over the past 2 months

came across this live feed on u-tube and noticed rc plane's being used and oh man what a location for it
it depends on when you view the live feed as to weather you will see anything but you can "rewind the live feed so you should find some being flown"

having to the cab of the merc truck nearly 2 months ago to add a new receiver and do a right hand dash conversion i deceided today to tidy up the spaghetti of wires with spiral wrap(well sort of)
. combined 2 sets of roof light wires into 1 plug so i can use the vacant slot for the dash lights started to reassemble the seats with driver to the dash then my brain got cooked and that was as far as i got

as has been said go for a brushless set up you won't regret it look at it this way the egress is a rc that is meant to go fast so why not start with something you will eventually end up at buy a motor/speed controller set like speed passion but don't go down the cheap o route with chinese combos
dont forget your charger also for the lipo

just replaced the screen on the laptop and for the first time since last year i can see again with out lines all over the show

finally got the e-parts tree for the manta-ray resto practically the last piece in the puzzle last friday so today put on the front bumper and the rear thingy to the rear gearbox theat i use to pick up and hold it(that curved bit)
and with all the plastics replaced
all screws replaced
kept the front and rear gears
the shocks are original but rebuilt/serviced
the chassis tub is original
the shell/wing/stickers are original
the wheels /tyres are original
rods and drive cups are original plus brass wear are original but polished
i have orderd a top force evo propeller shaft but has yet to turn up
all ball race have either been cleaned or replaced
all electrics are original (excuse the blue tape around the receiver as the case came apart back in the 90's and thats what i had to fix it at the time so as its been there all that time its staying

Got to say I actually like the preprinted body. I don’t really enjoy painting and always worry I’ll mess it up and this allowed me to finish up today rather than waiting for better weather (except for the windows I plan on doing).
I do wish Tamiya supplied an unpainted body as well though - so you end up with a nice professionally painted body for the shelf and one to paint as you see fit for running. Perhaps they should sell preprinted shells separately and then the LHS can swap in/out/add depending on customer preference.
if you decide not to use the window stickers can i beg them off you please

the one i brought from e-bay turned out to be great quality with opening draws also came with dash sticker sheet also but the led panels are 2 diff colours but tbh i aint bother'd in that and it worked out a lot cheaper as if i would have had to buy all the bits to do it my self

and at the mo i have the truck in bits as i have brought the new spektrum 6ch receiver and also added a few other stuff to it also so i cant remember where plugs go
what about adding to the excisting lights ie splice the dash lights into say the headlights i did think of just pluging it straight to the receiver as it is 6ch after all and asign it to a switch

i have recently brought a right hand drive dash for my merc truck and it came with a2 led panels and i want to wire them to the mfu know seeing i have taken that dreeded vibration unit out i was thinking i could use the spare socket but while i was checking it today i noticed it has stamped for "j29" only witch is the vibe unit.
is there any reason as to why you can't plug anything other than the vibe unit in

around the schools is worse parents are just plain idol they live 2 mins away and drive their kids to school block everywhere up park on the pavement park on junctions on bends and quite often nearly hits kids and parents that do walk there kids whilst trying to squeeze into a spot a micro car would have trouble parking plus in the road i live in their is a school plus also to add a twist to the plot it has a bus route also now the road is only wide enough for 2 cars to drive so when they get going its decends into chaos. i am glad i dont have to do the school run anymore.
everyone used to say the "white"van/truck driver was the worst on the road but from what i have seen in the past few weeks that def is not the case
to me it just simply biols down to the incompetent driving instructors/examiners that are to blame as they are far worse to start and have no idea on how to learn/train a new driver.
for me women make the best driving instructor's as my wife and me and also my sun have learned with them and i will find another for my other sun when his licence finally turn's up
