that kit is the tlu-01 kit witch is meant for either cars or as i have used one in my bruiser it will work out expensive by the time you need to add all the led's to everything (plus you will need the tlu-02 controll unit to make the lights follow the transmitter) you'll be better with the mfu or one of the gt truck light kits

Yeah I'm in the same boat! My order is fully paid for just waiting for it to come in but as of today it hasn't arrived 😡 my local hobby shop did contact me to basically say the likes of modelsport got priority from the hobby company everyone else tough!, if that is the case then what the hobby company/tamiya need to realise is there are other rc car manufacturers that we can switch our allegiance to that make some fantastic products and this £200 topforce evo which tamiya is asking £400 is probably only selling because of nostalgia I've just built a schumacher and it's far superior to the tf evo for 2/3rds of the price and I've just looked at the schumacher cat L1 evo which is probably one of the best modern top of the range racing machines and give or take £20 I could buy one of those for the price of tamiya's topforce evo! So I'm thinking the hobby company/tamiya stop taking your customers for granted and treating them like fools because we can easily just walk away🤷♂️
i'm real lucky in my lhs dont ask me for deposits or to pay until anything i order comes in.
yeah i agree the price is rediculous but like every one else and me never had the chance first time round so has to scratch that itch.
i only really brought 1 schumacher and that was a truck a storm i think and i ended up taking it back to the shop as it had a gear box problem out the box and they could not sort it so i ended up takeing it back to schumacher it self and they ended up replaceing the complete gearbox then sold it not long after

Over the weekend I painted the revive topforce Shell could not find the colours in the ps paints at lhs due to stock so i used ts paint instead .
please be aware the decals are in no way made for the shell i had to make them fit
as you can see the windows are unpainted as i may 1.1 car window tint them
Ts-65 pearl clear and then backed with Ts-29 semi gloss black. And to me the finish is fantastic but hard to picture.
So i present the JPS topforce.

If I ever have enough spare cash to buy another new kit they'll be my first port of call but I use Modelsport or Tony for parts.
tony does sell kits also as i have brought a few from him at good prices also plus i get to collect when i do buy kits

yeah its a nice custom job you have done i like the windows in the doors and the sleeper cab the finish looks superb

i remember when the hobby company took over from the previous owners/supplyers
and the owner of my lhs shop said back then they was a waist of time even the ref was a waist of time also
i cant believe in this day and age that it takes this long for a company to get this issue sorted out in my eyes at the most a few days to get back up and running but this just shows how its run by a bunch of idiots that dont care about the hobby

ta-08 pro ....all plastic and a list as long as you arm of the hop-ups to make it ............what ??????? better than pro
looks like the upper frame on the top-force evo as stickers you have to put on instead of printed on
and no cv's either but i did see ajustable rods
i did'nt see the calibra though on display

this right hand drive dash for my merc truck arrived today
i was gonna buy a kit dash and convert my self but along with the sticker kit it would have cost more than what i payed for this
real nice quality has drawers that open
and 2 illuminated panels so the dash lights up (gotta find a way on how to connect/solder these as i have never done anything like this before)
next on the list is right hand drive dash's is the bruiser

red
if you paint them same as the wheels then it will all blend and will cancel out the fenders appearance on the shell but if you paint the wheels a diff colour then why not gun metal for the fenders
-
the wheels look great and the needle glue idea is a great one but i could never have them in the house as the wife has got a proper phobia with needles
i see you have also been watching teri's recent truck build i ordered that grease he uses to try out and i did order the spring hangers as was gonna copy his steering mod
but i ordered a cranked rod and used the cranked ends also and tbh i have not need to trim the spring hangers or notch the axle either i orderd the same rod again for my merc and will be doing the same on that but i am waiting on a right hand drive dash to turn up yet before i make a start on that also have a rear bumper and 3d printed wheel hub caps for the truck and trailer also to paint along with the dash
oh and btw traxxas def is not a dirty word to me my first nitro was a t-maxx and i still own my revo from new when they was first released
