I have a couple of the old MRC catalogs, They're in pretty good nick! They have x part numbers most of the part numbers between 7000-10050, It also has y part numbers and exploded diagrams of the Bruiser, The Fox, Supershot 4wd, Porsche 959, and the Lunchbox as well as a few others. There's alot more stuff in these aswell including some old ads, Definately some material that would add nicely to the site! Let me know if your interested!

Righteo, Decided i wanted my scorcher to have a bit more poke, So eventually after gettin the old motor out of my scorcher the long winded way (I'm newish to SRBs) i go to put in the new motor but it doesnt fit its diameter is too large. So i am asking does anyone know of a good motor that will fit the scorcher. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated

Whats next on Tamiya's Re-re agenda?
Madmat replied to Scorcher Champ's topic in Re-Release Discussions
I agree with not bringing back 3-speeds, I know before i said different but i think if people really want one they should should bite the bullet and shell out the money for one instead of asking for a re-re that there is no promise they will buy. I eventually decided this and now i have two 3-speeds(it's funny how after the first one they start flooding in) I waited 4 years to get one but it was worth it. I Think the idea of bringing back some of the spare parts is a better idea. Just my 2 cent -
I use the Blue 3M masking tape Its part number is (scotch)3434. It doesn't bleed and its the stuff proper car painters use

modified cars to be banned by dvla!!!
Madmat replied to quincey's topic in Anything not RC related goes here
quote:Originally posted by mymonsterbeetleisbrokenalso, what on earth do they mean by saying glassfibre and carbon panels are unsafe??? id="quote">id="quote">I could see how carbon and glass fibre panels could be dangerous in a crash. Carbon fibre is extremely brittle and turns into pointy shards when broken[8)]. They are also trying to bring in a ban like this here in Ireland. I tihink it is daft though, I know quite a few car modifiers and many of them are too scared to drive the cars fast for fear of breaking them after spending so much time, money and effort doing up the cars. These cars are properly modified and not some rust bucket which a boy racer would drive. If the ban is brought in then i can see there being alot of trouble -
SJoerD,I believe Vauxhall is actually called Holden in australia. [?]

Ooh, a secret discussion on skylines, I never knew that skyline actually made the V35, mainly because whenever i heard of its name it was an Infiniti G35, No matter how much people say it, this is not a replacement for the R34 in my books. I saw a picture(It was drawn by Nissan, so it must be right) of what the new R35 will look like and to be honest i'm dissapointed. To me it looks too curvy, I like my cars to look mean and not like a bubble. These are links to the picture of the R35 http://www.jbskyline.net/V35/GTR/Showroom/Bilder/Bild2.php http://www.jbskyline.net/V35/GTR/Showroom/Bilder/Bild4.php Small Poll. Which is the best IYO Skyline R32, R33 or R34 My pick is the R33 [] Oh and welcome back Sigi

Can anyone tell me if a Bruiser front axle shaft will fit in a hilux axle

I've got another good example to go with darryns thread. There is one member of the local model club who "has" to have all the top of the line bi and pieces, So he bought the top of the line team magic race car ( cant remember the name of it) and a €500 race engine for it, very overkill for the short and tight track we race on. Anyway, Whenever he goes racing with his top of the line car he gets beaten, My boss even bet him with a stock Kyosho GP3, the most bog standard beginners car ever made, no matter how hard he tries he has only won one race with it ever, that being when his competitor ran out of fuel just before the end of the race.

It is a carson chassis but of even worse quality and longs susp. arms to make into so sort of truck. Honestly not worth the time and hassle. Also dont the electric models look a bit familiar[!]
