  1. I'd say it could be considered vintage its only two models after the bruiser and was reased in '85 so its almost 20 years old, that would probably qualify it as vintage. just my thoughts
  2. alright i have about 25 - 30 NIB Mardave v12 dubs to sell i am open to offers(sensible ones more then a few quid). there are four different body types including renault pick ups, peugots, beetles and renault meganes also loads of wheels, tyres, bodies, spare (all brand new) and just about anything else to do with the v12 get on to me if your interested[]
  3. Some of his prices are awful high, Makes ya wonder
  4. Hi i am wondering does anyone have an NIB clodbuster(not super clodbuster) that they will sell. Looked everywhere for one but cant find one anywhere.
  5. i think if they could have atleast made a high winged plane rather than a low winger and have made it electric. They are just throwing people into the deep end of the pool the way they are doing it
  6. Bruiser or juggernaut springs should fit but they might lift the chassis a bit, i dont think there are any still available in shops but try ebay and you should find some there. dont know if that was any help.
  7. i seen that in the window of a shop the other day. this is goin to be more expensive than the cars becasue of the price of field eqiupment and a 4-channel radio set. The best bit though is when they release the issue in which you have to cover the plane with pro-film or mono-kote. i am dreading the moment when the kids start coming in with half built planes looking for parts that have missed and telling me about the magazine as if i am cut off from the rest of the world, well atleast thats what happened with the car ones so far. Next up "build your own nitro helicopter", learn to build your own nitro helicopter and go nowhere with it other than wasting your money. week by week you give us all your money and to get a page with no useful infomation whatsoever on it other than different ways you can give us your money and a few small parts which uild up your collection of nothing. i can just picture the t.v. ad right now
  8. according to the description this lad has been selling them for over two years. I doubt this alot though as we probably would have seen them before. it also looks like he says they are rtr. i'd say this lad bought old molds off tamiya(like said happened in the tamiya book) and started making his own But like twinset said that clear chassis has potential, and i think it looks cool. but the rest of it looks a bit **** i wouldn't trust it compared to original tamiya stuff. the radioset is a cheap futaba knock- off aswell. i do think this should be brought to tamiya's attention aswell as futaba's. i dont think anyone wants "cheap" knock offs on the market,Not that they are priced cheapily
  9. the hornet wheels might work and if they do they wont be hard to get
  10. i've seen that truck somewhere before. very nice lookin'[]
  11. I would have freaked out if that happened to me . well atleast the best of them were saved
  12. you could try longer 4-links to the axle or, after this you have to start hacking up your chassis which i wouldn't advise you to as i hear they are now a discontinued part
  13. I've looked at this thread long enough, seems like you are all interested in a good bargain so im goin to let you in on a little hint. When a newsagent gets in a partwork magazine for the first time they get in say 10-15 copies of the first few issues to trial them to see roughly how many they will sell each week . after say issue 3 the news agent has to agree on a set amount. so they order maybe 8 issues every week. now here is where the bargains come, a few months on from the first set amount issue they will have many leftover issues which they cant send back to the distributor, so their only choice is to either bin them or sell them off for tiny amounts. so they will put out all these excess issues out by the counter in a box for maybe £1 or lessper issue. i know people who have gotten five 2 ch recievers and a bunch of servos for €5 and other people who got three engines for €30. i know its a mouth full but keep an eye out for these bargain boxs or under priced issues.
  14. hey i'm new to rock crawling and am just waiting to my tamiya txt-1 in the post. The idea of having 4 wheel steering sounds cool but it would be good if you could choose 2WS and 4WS, so i was wondering does any one know how i could get a set up so that i could switch between 2 and 4 wheel steering using the 3rd channel button on a 3-channel radio set oh and TWINSET that is one is one insane set-up
