    I think the current trend would lean towards option 2 with the oem style hardware. Is it not possible to do a choice, or would you rather just stock one style?

    I am loving this thread, It is almost completely different to the normal threads you see on TC. The car looks awesome. Have you any more shots of it or does it still look like it did in the previous pics? Excellent work

    Tyres are usually kept in the air to prevent flat-spots forming in the tyres. I bought a XR-311 before as a resto project and it had not moved in a long time, and because of this flat spots had formed, they're were so bad in fact that they actually looked like real punctured tyres! Also it helps prevent leaf springs becoming saggy on models which are equipped with them. If the models are being run very frequently though, keeping the tyres in the air isn't an issue.

    I think there is independent suspension at the front and axles from there on, but still l you're right about the use of cc-01 axles, Knowing Tamiya at the moment, they would get a CC-01 chassis and mod it to attach the rear section and extra axle haha

    This is an excellent idea! It is the perfect accessory to one of the most useful tools ever. You should try and incorporate a logo or marking onto it which can relate it to other items you are designing and selling as I see you have quite a few products available on Shapeways. All else aside, High 5!!!

    I'm with you on this one as well as Sayer, it is strange how this body was overlooked by Tamiya as something that they could use to make a really model with. Still it leaves the door open for everyone else that wants to get inventive it.

    You could try the guys over at Scale4x4rc. One of them could possibly have a couple laying about as they often use single wheels as "spares" for their scale projects

    I'm thinking of starting a project but need some dimensions for planning. I am hoping to use a Ranger XLT/Blackfoot Body but don't have one at hand currently to take the dimensions. So I was hoping someone might may be able to help me out and take a couple dimensions for me. I've made a crude diagram showing the dimensions I'm really after. Any help at all would be much appreciated.
