What I have done in cases like this is use 3mm threaded rod. Most hobby shops stock it for plane guys. Its not as precise as turnbukles with one end having reverse thread, but its no different than the standard set up used on most kits (only having thread all the way. TamiyaUsa has it on the website in english now http://tamiyausa.com/articles/feature.php?article-id=242 Original on Tamiya (.jp) http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/582...wild8/wild8.htm

Sorry it isnt _miga_'s. But it is tourer based (and even a TA03). Since its a little late, it was lemansrc's http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.a...7646&id=504 Fifth picture down, mirrored and adjusted the hue. I guess that was a little unfair. getuserimage.asp.jpg

Help In Stripping Down 959 Grearboxes.
rajicon replied to Stokenewington's topic in Vintage Tamiya Discussion
There are special tools/plyers that make it easier. Or even two small screwdrivers can be used to spread and push. I try to do it inside a platic bag, so when they do fly off they dont go far. -
The website it came from is http://users.chariot.net.au/~stmezz/celica.htm
