  1. They have always sent a shipping notice/updated my account. Sometimes things get shipped within a few working days, but sometimes it takes a week  I think COVID is impacting shipping options and affecting staff levels.

I ordered some items 15 March, they were shipped 22nd using DHL Express and they are out for delivery today. So not too bad

I think I’ve seen this bag in the saint dragon body set. I think you are close with the bracket as it’s an adapter to fit the saint dragon body to various buggies, I bought the saint dragon body set for my madcap in the early 90’s and used that bracket as a front strut brace across the front shock top screws

i haven’t checked the manual though so I might be wrong

Well I’ll be dammed. It does look like it may have come with the Saint Dragon body set. thanks for your help

I will try and find a copy of the instructions unless someone here can save me the trouble and just upload one :)

Yep, got them from the same place and I ordered them in 1/10 scale too. In what way are they too big?

I thought that the RS1800 badges that go behind the rear wheel arches look a little big. I was comparing to some actual photos of a real car, but I could be wrong. I haven’t fitted the yet, just offered them up. The smaller RS1800 looks a better size but there’s only one of those which goes on the boot lid.

I also bought a set of the Marlboro decals for the mk2 in 1/10 scale. The larger decals are nearly bang on scale for the Tamiya shell, so these are the right set to get, but some of the medium/smaller logos are a tad too big.

These arrived in the post today. Just need someone to make an equivalent sent of Mexicos and I'm good for road-going Mk2 bodies. :)

I bought a set of these as well, went for 1/10 scale. I should have ordered a 1/12 scale as I think 1/10 are slightly to big

Mine came from https://www.littlecaraddict.fr, I suspect yours did too

I'm looking at the hi-caps in the picture and they have different springs and don't seem to have the adjustable collars on them? Unless this is just the mock up (mule) version?

Good spot, I noticed the collars but didn’t realised the springs were not gold.

There is also a spring retainer just under the collars, perhaps this kit will come with 53111 Damper Spring Spacer Set

Hmm, a shame about the overspray but it doesn’t appear to affect the white. We’ll see when it arrives, I suppose.

However, the finished body isn’t...finished. It has been painted, windows smoked, body post holes made but the wheel wells and sills, etc all need trimming! Why half a job? I’m not good at that bit. Perhaps I should have paid closer attention when it was announced.

I heard back from Joanne at Fusion and my order is still good. Whilst this has taken the shine off a little, I know I’ll be happy when it actually arrives and I’ve wanted the MF-01X chassis for quite a while.

I think that the wheel arches are precut, I am sure it says so on the little label bottom left of the box

  7. Ebay refunded my buyer direct, so neither of us are financially out of pocket, just not happy that this model has now disappeared.

I will also be keeping an eye on eBay for this cat, it is quite distinctive in how it ha been put together with an original Speedo etc.

i had hoped GSP would help me and any overseas buyers to have a good experience, but I am considering pulling my other/future items from GSP.

  8. I had the same thing with a rere Hotshot dressed as a Super Shot only a week or so ago. Sold it on eBay to a nice chap in Australia using GSP, and I got the following a few days after it arrived at the UK GSP shipping centre

The item in question has been classified as restricted. This could be due to import/delivery restrictions or eligibility requirements within the Global Shipping Programme. The item will not be sent on to its final destination and will not be returned to you.’

Go figure. Was just a rolling chassis, no batteries or anything. Buyer was not happy, neither was I
