  1. MAJOR score there mate !!
  2. It's wrapped up in this thread . I didn't do an actual build thread for it , but the work is similar to yours with custom made parts on the chassis
  3. Are you using a receiver with built in BEC ? . The 101bk doesn't have BEC and is quite an old model now . Does the motor make any sound when throttle is moved ? . Have you checked the ESC set up as this can be fiddly on the 101bk . Check the motor wires are correctly pressed into the bullets .
  4. What radio / ESC / Motor system have you got ? . You have you been able to pair your handset to your receiver as you have steering , so lets go from there . Do you have pics of your set-up ?
  5. I made a 4 link / panhard set up for a Lunchbox / Pajero project, it is much better than stock - love this build too BTW
  6. I use a heat gun on low or hair drier ( if I can beat the wife to it ! ) softens the glue , peel them off - then use DeSolvit sticky stuff remover - no damage to shell
  7. Thanks guys . I'm working on getting some Matt white Military stars and serial numbers etc to finish the theme .
  8. Some updates on progress 2.4g radio fitted , battery in . I made another gear cover . This time slightly different from the other one , this one is much easier to fit and remove with the 'bridge' over the battery band hook on the tub . I made an aluminium rear bumper and fitted an SRB whip ariel for effect . fitted a mesh in the rear louvres on the shell for effect . Light fitted with custom lense stickers and driver is in and fuel cans on . I won't be doing much more with the shell other than putting on some American matt white stars and serial numbers etc . Still looking for some half decent rear tyres to run .
  9. Thanks for your interest .I'll have some updates tomorrow , things are moving along now .
  10. Thanks . Not just me then .
  11. When I get an email message about anything in my trades on the main site , unless the sender mentions specifically what they are messaging about , I don't know what they are messaging about as there is no message header . Does this happen to everyone ?
  12. I hope it works out for your SR and you can run it :)
  13. They always are . It's the fiddly bits that take the time , then there is the bodywork too
  14. Sounds like a tough crowd then Great build - I missed this when it started
  15. Hi Erich . Yes , those rods are a bit weak anyway , so I decided to try a new way of using current stock parts to produce a servo saver set-up . Firstly I got a Lunchbox screw bag ( Tamiya 58347 Lunch Box/Midnight Pumpkin/CW01, 9465656/19465656 ) which has the 4 x BB7 ball connectors with the 2mm internal thread . These fit straight on to the stock steering arms . I used 2mm spacers to raise the ball connectors up to give the arms clearance on the chassis tub floor at full arm drop , usually they clear easily with the chassis on its wheels with full weight , but this just to be sure , I also used stock Tamiya 2mm x 10 wheel bolts to allow for the spacer length . I used the P parts servo saver ( Tamiya Grasshopper/Hornet/Lunch box/DT02/DT03/CW-01 P Parts 0115065/10115065 ) I used the cranked part P3 and suitable servo back plate for my servo . Then 2 more ball connectors are bolted to the P3 parts . I used the Tamiya 5mm rod ends ( Tamiya 50596 RC 5mm Adjuster (6pcs) SP596 ) and 2 Lunchbox 45mm steering rods ( Tamiya Lunch Box/Pumpkin Threaded Shaft 3mm x 45mm - 9804190/19804190 ) . I made up a platform from plastic card to raise the servo for the P3 to clear the chassis floor and bolted it through the tub floor , you can use double sided tape to mount the platform if you dont want to drill your chassis . I fitted stock servo posts to the platform with the servo centred . thanks for your interest :)
  16. Thanks guys . I'm steadily working on . Changed out the steering servo as it was a 13-15KG and was overkill and glitching the motor so I fitted a Futaba S148 . Bought a 2.4g radio set ( finally !! ) and fitted in the complete electrics and had a crafty test run indoors .More work to do on the body side of things then I can get that all back together . Waiting on some stickers too.
  17. I've got a basic printer , but not up to this kind of thing
  18. Hi all Can anyone in the UK print some stickers for the Holiday Buggy round and oblong lights ? . I'm looking for a 'glass lens' look like the pic to fit the round fronts and the oblong roof lights cheers
  19. Lovely , some nice touches on there too
  20. Nice one . I was going to suggest this if the previous suggestions didn't work out . I've got some here that I used for some LB mods, but needed to find them first to have checked the fitment .
  21. Excellent Ash . I wish I hadn't sold my WW's many years back
  22. If you take out the drive pin , does the pin drop into the adapter ? . I've got an adapter here and the pin drops in freely to about 3mm or so inside the adapter , more than your picture shows , so it does look like it is binding at the front , unless your pin doesn't drop into the adapter , then it's a pin problem GH2 re-re axles :-
  23. Can you see if the rear of the adapter sits on the drive pin ? there might be a too larger gap between the rear of the adapter and the axle bearing than normal . If there is a large gap then what you are saying could work . If the pin is located already then it can't move any further back . Also check that the drive pin is not binding inside the adapter before you drill anything . The GH2 rear axles have a different part number to the GH1 and look very similar at the thread end to your old GH axles . Not sure of the o/a dimensions of the axles in comparison to each other but maybe someone could check , it could be a solution at a push
