  1. Hi all . Has anyone got an old tub with broken front or rear end for sale / swap . I want to try the SRB front /rear end mod so I will be cutting off the front and rear of the tub . The tub needs to have the rear body mount turrets intact though Thanks UK only please
  2. I bought this as it has sticks and is for general running and my one has a steering end point adjustment knob (£40 inc post from Jadlam ) . It is basically a rebranded Flysky and you can buy extra ( cheap) flysky receivers for other cars you might have and use the same handset
  3. My first nib kit was Mardave Mini stock , but I also bought a second hand Kyosho Big Brute bitd .
  4. Sweet . Looking foreward to seeing it complete
  5. I had a chuckle when I read the title , as Gom is what my nan used to call a Gnome , we kept telling her the G is silent and it's pronounced Nome , she never did get it , so now Gom is always the little fella in my memory
  6. Something like this Jon ? - lots of sizes available https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284388626643?var=585921938942&hash=item4236e210d3:g:3-MAAOSw3WhhAccE I also buy nylon spacers of varying sizes , useful for damper mount spacing , general spacing etc
  7. Shame that - but you can never have enough at that price !!
  8. Thanks for the info :) . I've seen those but didn't want to cut up a new set so was looking for some old stuff with broken pins as I will be drilling those out for my damper mod.
  9. Plenty of cleaning and rubber replacement etc will go a long way . The threadlock can be melted / softened with heat to remove the bearing , a heat gun or similar should help but you need to move the bearing whilst it is hot
  10. Cool . I've restored one of these and it is very satisfying - look foreward to seeing the pics of the strip and build
  11. I've got the same Absima kit and I use extra flysky receivers and they bind easily to the Absima TX . As said previously if you have the steering end point dial on the TX you need to set that for each car
  12. Can't see anthing wrong with that . I guess we all did it ? - or just us 2 ? Here's one of my old haunts
  13. That's why I use tape . I can measure & draw the whole item and plot the hole centres then centre punch the holes to get an acuate position before drilling
  14. I would have bought it but I'm set up now , thanks guys :)
  15. Totally agree with all of that - except my Halfords is a whole 4 minutes away from me
