  1. Outstanding work , love this , the roof is epic and driver and Jeep detailing is superb !! - BTW -can you spare a cigarette ?
  2. Sorted now thanks to GP &TBS Cheers guys
  3. I've got an Absima SR2S 2 sticks & 2 channels for cars - it is essentially a Flysky , and I've got Flysky receivers bound to it for different cars , it also has a steering limiter . It's not expensive or fancy but it works well and extra receivers are cheap
  4. I might be tempted now that I have 2.4G radio in it . When I get a chance I'll get it outside
  5. Got the matt white stickers printed by Jez Thain - screenprintdigital - excellent chap to deal with , and great stickers . The Military HB is finished
  6. That looks great . You could knock up a small cover panel to fit over the exposed chassis point at the front you could probably use those bumper fixing screws ( longer ones would probably be needed ) to mount it from underneath with no visible screws - it would look factory
  7. Thanks Simon Let me know when your parts arrive Cheers
  8. The air filter won't prevent it starting . Have you tried priming the carb like I said by blowing into the tube that is attched to the exhaust so that you see fuel travel to the carb . Have you got an old inline fuel filter fitted ? , it could be blocked . Check that and the idle setting . When I crank my nitros I ease up the throttle trim whilst starting the engine to open the carb up slightly , then back off to the trim neutral position . If the filter is blocked , you can clean it out by unscrewing the filter to reveal the gauze inside .
  9. Yep and here's a photo of some stocks
  10. I think you can convert your original steering servo saver to a P parts set up . You will need to reverse the steering servo so the splines are near the bottom of the chassis then fit the P parts directly to the servo . You might need new steering rods How about a Frog NGK plugs large sticker on the bonnet , it might cover the patch
  11. I haven't got the part , but that Brat is very nice , great detailing & patina
  12. I use cranked pointed nose smooth faced pliers
  13. The go to tools are usually best
  14. You can be clever with this as real jerry cans can get a bit beat up with use over time , so you could flatten back - if there is gray primer you could show some of that through the green as distress and wear , then detail the strap and buckle
  15. Not sure I'm doing it right
  16. inspiration comes from the strangest places
  17. Ah yes , much better . Great work and detailing . I have looked at adjustable magnetic mounts on eBay , lots to choose from . I will try it one day
  18. Possibly so , her Dad had a bike and cycled far and wide
  19. Good tip , anything that keeps these pesky E-clips under control is a good thing
  20. . Talking of cleaning , I cleaned out the loft the other day with my mother-in-law , - dirty , smelly , covered in cob webs - but she's good to the kids !!
  21. That's it . He must live nearby as he came out of a side road locally and into the garage , never seen it before . Dave Stone the rail racer used live near me too .I used to go to his workshop when I worked the for an Auto. parts supply co.and he spoke about the old days with D.L.T. with the Tender Trap and his 'hot' Cortina 'road legal' monster I've seen him from time to time in my ex- bro -in -laws garage , he takes them in sandwiches , what a nice bloke . I saw his old rail racer in a trailer in his garden many years ago , cool .How time flys
