  1. Thanx for the info Steve.I am looking for an Adpsec trigger type transmitter to give it go as a matched pair to see if that works .I had thought about re tuning the cpu from the start ,but that can be complex in its way as you said because it is very 'hit and miss'.If all else fails then i will open it up and hopefully no toys will be thrown out of the pram LOL   :)

  2. Maybe the Adspec had the same basic 6 band xtal set up but the matching of the units is different ,like if you hook up an Acoms handset to a receiver ,then hook up a Futaba handset to the same receiver ,you have to change the trim set up as they react differently ,even though they are on the same xtal frequency. For now i will keep looking for an Adspec transmitter to see if it will cure this bug!! - good luck with yours too  : )  ps - if anyone has an Adspec transmitter ,please drop me a line -thanx

  3. Yes ,ive been there with the Paypal knockback too !!.Here is one example .I had sold an item to a guy in the USA ,i sent the item the very next day after his 'E' cheque had cleared (it took a week for him to pay and clear the 'E' cheque !!) 3 daysafter me shipping  he put a complaint in to Paypal as 'item not received'.As i had sent the item via std. airmail with proof of postage certificate Paypal took the money back from me because i had not used a trackable shipping method !!.Then the jerk buyer left Ebay !!So ,now all of my ebay items go out recorded / tracked whether it be UK or overseas shipping - you have to cover your ar*e so to speak.

Another grumble is that i always send out my  Ebay sales very well packaged (anyone who knows me will know that). I always communicate to let the buyer know when payment is received ,or when i will be shipping an item usually the next day after cleared payment and also to let them know that their item has been shipped. Then what do you get your efforts - some buyers cant even be bothered to leave any feedback whatsoever !! ;)

All in all though i find Ebay a generally happy place to be - surrounded by all that lovely nib Tamiya stuff - yummy

  4. Still need help to set up a Tamiya P80F CPR unit. I have it hooked it up to motor /switch / battery / transmitter etc .The motor runs and responds to the transmitter but transmitter throttle trim has to be trimmed right back to get the motor to neutral (and that is only just about neutral ).I cant see a set button as per TEU 101 BK etc.Does anyone know how to reset the CPR unit to match my transmitter or does this cpr unit have to me matched to an Adspec transmitter only? - Thanks in advance

  5. Hi all, i need a switch for an ESC ,it needs to have just one red and one black wire going in to it ,not the usual type with 2 red and black wires in and 2 out .New or good used is fine.Cheers  ;)

  6. I have repaired many a damaged plastic part by using either clear or black epoxy 2 part resin .This bonds well if you can get get it to stay in place while it sets, as it can 'slump' or run - so you need to think about how you are going to do it before you mix , and depending on the make of resin ,they can cure at different lengths of time -ie , some are 5 minutes and some are 5 hours etc .Once cured ,you can drill it ,tap it ,sand it etc.,but if you can get a neat enough finish straight off ,you dont need to do anything else.
