Can't beat a bit of Saaaarrrffff End. Did you get some fish and chips from under the arches on the esplanade?
Not quite , but did have MacD and a walk on the pier in the glorious sunshine

Once you get it rolling with a push , does it speed up to normal and control from the handset ? - I guess you have checked the stick pack for charge ? . The MSC , if you have one fitted can be adjusted insitu via the push rod servo hole position if it needs adjusting to centre , but first check that the handset trims are centred .

Contact Jez at screenprintdigital , if you are in the UK , he can make custom decals , but he also sells stock items on ebay

Looking at it a bit more I think it would be good idea to fit one as the spacer runs on the shaft to support the bearings and counter gear giving a larger support area overall
-
looks like a back-up spacer to give the plastic bearings stability ? , and give the counter gear some support inside the hollow . Does the B12 spacer fit in flush against back of the bearings ?

Do you know where the orignals are available? Unfortunately I don't have any of the spare gears, I only have the 540 motor ones.
These come up on eBay UK quite often . Look for a seller called tamiyabuyerseller he has lot of Holiday Buggy/ Sand rover parts, other sellers often have them too

I still have to print a new set of gears for it. I doubt the originals will survive another run.
Original gears are still available. You can also modify the bushes of a gear B to work as a gear A

Hi all . Has anyone got an old tub with broken front or rear end for sale / swap . I want to try the SRB front /rear end mod so I will be cutting off the front and rear of the tub . The tub needs to have the rear body mount turrets intact though
Thanks
UK only please

Absima SR2S 2 direct replacment for the Acoms, -no extra features, + waterproof Rx available
I bought this as it has sticks and is for general running and my one has a steering end point adjustment knob (£40 inc post from Jadlam ) . It is basically a rebranded Flysky and you can buy extra ( cheap) flysky receivers for other cars you might have and use the same handset

I didn't have much money back then so I only bought cars that were familiar.. which were all Tamiya. My buddy's dad had a collection of Kyosho cars like the Optima and such, RC10, etc, but those were 'for adults' from a kids point of view.
So nearly 40 years later I tried my first Kyosho (besides a couple of MiniZ's) and it was a disasterous build for me. ..so the RC gods are telling me to just stick with Tamiya because Kyosho's are still for adults only.
Nice !!

I had a chuckle when I read the title , as Gom is what my nan used to call a Gnome , we kept telling her the G is silent and it's pronounced Nome , she never did get it , so now Gom is always the little fella in my memory

Thanks for the info :) .
I've seen those but didn't want to cut up a new set so was looking for some old stuff with broken pins as I will be drilling those out for my damper mod.
