  1. Cheers Stefan, I did what you said. Don't know if it's worked yet. No I wont be posting my own comments, well not just yet anyway[] quote:Originally posted by StefanEasy in your showroom (main page) , go to > edit your details. < Then, just above the fielt " description " (bothem of page), you can "tick" a option => ===> allow only members to make comments <====== Then you should be able to give yourself (if you are into that), comments, and other members or visitors also can. Hope this works, Regards, Stefan id="quote">id="quote">
  2. Just wanted to know, how do I get the "Leave a Comment" box in my showroom. I'm not to sure if it only comes up when someone else looks in my showroom, or have I not done something right. I've looked through the forums, but can't see anything about it. Cheers[8D]
  3. For me it would have to be my `nickname` name sake. Although I just bought one[8D], I'd love to have a NIB or New Built. Untouched and not a runner, a virgin if you will.
  4. Sorry[V] DaMasha for not getting back to you earlier, I've been posting pics in my showroom. It's quite hard coming up with captions. Like Mike says, it hasn't moved. So good luck.
  5. Gidday from N.Z,[8D] I'm assuming that you're keeping an eye on the BigWig item. Decal set?[?] I just checked it out, starting bid $25 NZD, postage is $4 NZD anywhere in New Zealand. I noticed that he's got two unanswered questions aswell. I'll keep an eye on it for you. The auction finishes 6:27pm on Saturday, it's Tuesday now. I'll ask if he'll send it to the U.K, but the other option is to send me the $$$, and I'll send it on to you. Let me know Do you want me to bid now, or wait `till Saturday[?] Cheers, Del[8D]
  6. Cheers Mervyn, but I'll have to say no for now. I'm either going to put some GOLD Fox[8D] wheels on it, or keep it like it's supposed to be. Cheers anyway,[] Del quote:Originally posted by MervynDel,not sure if you want to spend some $$$ but I have a brand new set of (4)aluminum wheels for your buggy if interested. 7. I was painting two shells, one metallic blue, and the other metallic purple. Was too busy talking to the wife, picked up the wrong colour and sprayed the wrong shell. DOH!!
  8. Sorry to hear about that fasterthebetter. Yeah you gotta watch that caustic, especially `round the eyes[8D]. I used to work for a company that made computer circuit boards. Caustic is a bad one, but ammonia. I worked on a machine that ran on it, I got a face full one day. Three days later I was back at work. It blinds you,(briefly) and takes the air out of your lungs. (briefly) Also if you make the mixture of caustic too hot, you end up with a big plastic blob on the floor[]
  9. Cheers Mike, I'll give that a go. See if I can tear-up the wife's garden[}] quote:Originally posted by Renco5012Hey Del, The stock pinion should be fine [] id="quote">id="quote">

    pinion

Anybody have any ideas as to what the best size pinion is to attach to the end of a Sport Tuned motor, running a stock spur gear in a Wild One. Like most of us[]I want to go as fast as I can, but be able to play in the dirt for as long as poss. Battery is a Tamiya 1400. (blue battery) Cheers Del
  11. Does any one have a spare Wild One front wheel and tire[?] Would be better if they were in New Zealand, as shipping wouldn't be too much. That's all I need to complete a dream -- turned reality. Cheers - Del
  12. Cheers Daz, []. A couple of Dub guys over here in New Zealand are going to be spending even more time on the net now. Aren't VW's just the most versatile cars around. (if you can find one)Getting harder and harder to find over here. Cheers
  13. Got it sorted[^], it was the receiver batt box. I cut the wires as close to the box as I could, and soldered them to the MSC. I now have a Wild One runner. I'm guessing that it'll be the same for the Hornet. Thanks for all you suggestions. Cheers
  14. Yes, both sets have transmitter and receiver xtals. I checked that first. Sorry I should have said that. I was just reading a similar question that was posted in another forum, and it was suggested to cut the receiver box off and solder the wires straight onto the MSC. So I might try that, as a last resortid="red">. Thanks any way. Any other suggestions before I do that would be much appreciated
  15. Just bought a Wild One and a Hornet, both in almost new condition. Both came with radio gear and batteries, but I'm not getting any responce from receiver.[] I've tryed new batteries in transmitter and reciever battery box, and still nothing. Did notice a bit of corrosion on the contacts in receiver battery box, but not too sure on the best way to clean them up. Can anyone help?
