  1. thanks for your tips, very useful, i'll be sure to use a mask.

i have also emailed fibre-lyte.co.uk and they were very helpful. Here's what they said for anyone looking to do what i'm doing:

"To cut carbon fibre you need to use a sintered carbide blade(the one used

for cutting ceramic tiles - diy shops sell them - they have a grinding edge

as opposed to teeth). If you put masking tape over the areas to be cut this

will help to stop the carbon splintering. You can use sharp drills ok too."

  2. hi

has anyone had experience cutting carbon fibre sheet? I'm looking to cut 2mm thick carbon fibre for a project, will a small toothed hacksaw do? or would it just splinter the sheets?

I'm not doing anything too detailed, basically just cutting a square from a larger sheet at this stage.

Any tips (and safety advice) welcome.

    Thanks [:D]

  3. hi

i'm in urgent need of Associated B4 suspension arms for a TB Evo 3 buggy project.

The problem is i have no money i can spend (/girlfriend will let me spend) because of a new flat, so it will have to be a trade. I have a few things in my trade room or email me for other things i have.

    Any non-broken condition ok.

    Thanks for looking [:)]

i'm looking for a brushless system (motor and esc). I mainly looking for trades. I have an original Dyna Storm (red and white one in my showroom), Astute: lots of new parts on it, lots of used spares, and a Schumacher Bosscat Team: spares, two bodies (looks nicer than my showroom pics show, and pictures of newer body on request).

    Please see my showroom: http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=5594

These cars are for sale if price is right. Please feel free to ask questions :(

    Thanks for looking
