  1. You can get a complete set of bearings on Ebay for under $10. Also, a trick I use if you have troble with the ESC or reciever fitting under the body is to flip the recievver tray over, doing this give you about another 1/8 of an inch of clearance if you mount somthing on it. Tom
  2. The Frog is my favorite car, I have seven of them, not couting some rolling chassis I have a three frog projects I am about to start. I would certainly not run your car, complete and make it a Shelf Queen. You can easily purchase a good condition RTR Frog runner here or on Ebay for the $50 to $100 range depending on condition. The great thing about Frogs is that they is a large abundance of spare parts availible, both used and NIP, so your dont have to fear wreaking it. There are also a ton on vintage mods for them on the market, which I like to do to my Frogs. Have Fun Tom
  3. I live in Bensonhurst(that's right, u got a problem wit that?):-), we are kind of far from each other but perhaps we can agree on someplace in between that has a good spot for driving some offroad. Shoot me an email. Tom
  4. I wish I was serious but I'm not. I am not at the point yet where I would fly to the other side of the world to race some cars (almost, but not quite), besides, I would have to sell all my cars to buy the ticket. I have always wanted to see Australia though. Thanks for the offer of hospitality. I have never heard of Vic Bitter, but Fosters has always been Number one in my opinion of imported beers. I really like the oil cans. "Fosters... Australian for Beee-Ahh!"
  5. I may just hop a flight out there, how many cars can I fit in the overhead???
  6. I live in Brooklyn all my life, I actually live about two blocks from where I grew up. I live in the 11223 zip. I have alot of Tamiya and others, to list some are: 6 Frogs 3 Grasshoppers 2 Sonic Fighters 2 Midnight Pumpkins 1 Blackfoot 1 Monster Beetle 1 Playtron Lynx 4WD 1 Bandai MadWolf 1 Associated RC10 1 Nikko Viper 1 Smartech Mega 4WD Its true that it is hard to find places to race around here, I make do with the parks and parking lots. I plan to go race my Traxxas Bandit at a track out on Long Island soon. I have been going down to Floyd Bennett field on Sundays as they race nitro on road cars there. I am considering getting into nitro but I will wait until next spring before I amke that leap. If you are interested in getting together for some bashing before it gets too cold, LMK.
  7. I guess not, I am so lonely!!!

  9. What's a wellnut? Tom
  10. Thanks Ideal, you hit it on the head. I looked at the Traxxas website and that is exactly what it is. Wont take much to complete but dosen't fit in with my collection. Too bad for me as when I won the lot on ebay, I though I was getting a BigWig rolling chassis as they both have yellow shocks front and rear. Tom
  11. I got this in a lot, when i first got it, it came with a BigWig box so I thought that is what it was, now I see that it isnt. I have included all parts that it came with, radio Gear is newer Traxxas, I do not think the car is though. If anyone knows for sure what this is and when it was produced, please contact me. Thanks.
