Looks like ive sorted out about 30 brand new body sets (Some very rare!), about 10 NIB kits, various assortment of cars (10-15), loads of wheels and tyres and a few runners (not sure exactly which ones yet tho! LOL) Its gonna be a squeeze to get it all in the astra!

Now i may well be throwing a curve ball here! Can we run any car with a mini shell on them in the M class race as I dont have a Tamiya mini but do have an ABC mini? Also I would like to see a touring car class with the likes of TL01, TT01, TB01/02 etc, as I think quite a few peeps will have one or two kicking around. The idea of an XC race is inspired BTW! May have to bring my 6WD unimog along for that one, LOL

Hi chaps, Well I was going to make an appearance at the bash but ive just got up and its hammering down here so it looks like il be spending the day at home putting together our new Ikea TV units, LOL. Hi Guys, Sorry I have been absent for a while, for some reason TC hasnt been letting me know that people have been using this thread so I assumed all had gone quiet on the KB front, LOL. Im afraid I wont be around for a couple of months now, I think the next weekend im fee will be 10/11 April. I have to spend this months weekend getting a freinds Jeep Cherokee ready for our Macmillan 4x4 Challenge event entry, to see more about the event click here ----->http://www.mac4x4.co.uk/ We are team 69 (It still says Matt Everest but he dropped out for some reason so im now the navigator!) Well I hope everyone had a fantastic Crimbo and ate way too much! LOL. Right then, the bash on Monday. Hows about meeting at the Maidstone services on the M20 @ 09:30 (there are a few parking spaces in the petrol stn forecourt!) Then we will mosey on down to the bash site for about 09:50 in a convoy stylee! The runners im taking are as follows..... Caster fusion 1/8 buggy (brushless) E-Firestorm (brushless) Team Associated SC-10 Axial Crawler (brushless) Red Barron XC (Brushless) May take the VLB and Landy XC! Dont forget to bring a shovel along to help build a crawler/xc course! And a flask for a cuppa! Really looking forward to this one! Hi Chaps. I think the general thoughts from everyone is maybe not to head out tomorrow, not just the probs for people getting there but also the amount of damage all that white stuff is gonna do to our ESC's LOL. Hows about if we make some arrangements for the Bank Holiday Monday? (28th Dec) fingers crossed all the snow will have gone or pretty much all of it, it may even allow anyone who gets some nice new RC's for xmas to get them ready for a play too! I know its not the perfect scenario but it may be the best option we got for a bash this year! What say you guys?

Right then chaps, Due to the amount of white stuff that has fallen it may be a good idea to get everyones thoughts on whether they want this bash to go ahead on Sun! If there is still enough interest and not too much more falls tonight or sat night then im still up for it! now i know most of you can probably make it to the Maidstone services but the lane where the old sand pit is is not going to be cleared or gritted! I will have all my recovery gear in the disco and will tow anyone that needs it, but obviously we are going to need a show of hands to see who is still interested in making this one! il be the ist to say il be there if there is enough up for it, I think Graham (Difflockxc) is up for it but I dont wanna speak for him so let us know fella.

Looks like my weekend off will be the 19/20 Dec, So how does the 20th sound to you guys, Im afraid I cant really do the Sat but if majority would prefer the Sat then I will organise it! We can make this the official 2009 Crimbo Kent Bash! LOL Not sure if I will have my SC10 running by then after I snapped the chassis at the last wet bash, as there are no Chassis in the UK as yet and the one ive had to buy from the states is taking its time to arrive, fingers crossed tho! I suggest meeting up @ the Maidstone services for lets say 9:30 as this will get us to the bash site for about 9:50 and it means no-one will have to get up too early! Let me know what you guys think!!

Fill the front diff with bluetack, hot glue gun glue or anything that can be removed if you decide to change your mind. Get yourself a crawler or lathe motor, I'm at work at the mo but I will see if I have a spare one at home. As for the servo you can use a balloon but to be honest I have never had an xc steering servo die on me! A good cheap metal geared servo is the tower pro 995, only about £12 so even if it does die it won't break the bank unlike the hitec 745mg which is fantastic but costs about £50! The tower pro is a bit slower than the 645 but you don't need speed in a crawler. I wouldn't bother with the steering mod until you really need to. There are a few more bits and bobs you can do but it means cutting plastic about so il show you a couple of mine, then you can decide if you wanna do it. I would however cut the tyres, there are some tips and hints in my showroom that I did to the Custard toerag.

LOL, Im still wringing my pants out, LOL. You didnt miss much Jozza, It got well and truly rained off in the end! I ran 4 cars and 2 got smashed up (1 not my fault tho) I think the next Bash will be about 2 weeks before crimbo and will be at a big sand pit near Charing (half way between Maidstone and Ashford) Il sort out all the finer details nearer the time but its a great place for Buggies, Short course trucks, Monsters, Crawlers and a great place for XC's I think it would be best if we dont allow Nitros or large Scale for the time being as we dont wanna offend the locals too much!
