  1. Just to let everyone know a great british 1/10th buggy is now returning to international racing. The Ttech (or Tenth Technology) is now back after what everyone thought was the end to the most sucessful buggy of all time (Shumacher Cat and Yokomo Dogfighter not wiststanding) has returned and will be avilable from March 2005 onwards to most porbably dominate the world stage.

I have been racing these 1/10th buggy's for many years (1986 onwards) have loved many designs (PB maxima, Optima Mid, Orginal Cat + 2000 , 3000 and , most of all the Yokomo YZ870c Dogfighter) but must admit fell in love with the Tenth Technology Predator and Cat 3000. now after 2-3 years Ttech are back with the Predator X10 better than any other 1/10th buggy (Losi and BJ4 included) and now may the battle comence.

Did have an order for the new BJ$ (by J Concepts) but am thinking of mothballing the kit (NIB of Course) and racing the new Pred, It has a great history and best of all it is brtish and caries on the mark left by the old pred, cat 3000 (until the 4k turns up)

see you all racing or just having fun.

    God I love this hobby.

  2. Hi

Just getting back into this sport after about 15 years out of it, I use to race the orginal Schumacher CAt, PB Maxima and my favorite the Yokomo YZ870c dogfighter back in the late eighties and early nineties. Really want to get back inot this and try and race each week but am really having a hard time trying to find a club in kent that race 1/10th buggies.

In my days there use to be loads but now seem mainly dedicated to touring cars (sorry but these do not do anything for me and seem a little boring compared to the fun of buggies and nitor monster trucks).

Please could some one point me in the right direction for a club in kent.

    Thanks

    Regards

  3. Just getting back into racing (got a Ttech predator a d cat 3000 and a losi xxxg+, although not sure which to use and which to keep on the shelf.

Anyway it has been a while and I wanted a better understanding on the positives and negatives about the differences between motor winds and the X1, X2 descriptions.

How do they differ, what are the advantages, disadvantages etc

  4. Must admmit thanks for bring this thread upi as I have actually bought this car (still looking for a NIB YZ870c) but this is so so close and is probably the much rarer car. I remember building the Yz870c (one of the first in the country) and this car which is in really great condition (like new) is exactly the same, with only a few mods.

Still a fantastic car and thanks again for fladding it up, I love this car.

  5. Hi I know they are great cars and did wonder if any collectors here (perhaps with more that one would be willing to sell one off?) here's hoping. If anyone sees one on Ebay please let me know.

p.s. I know there are some good pictures on www.Oople.com and I believe the site owner is a member.

    Thanks

Still looking for the NIB YZ870c Dogfighter

  6. Guys wonder if any of you can help?

I really want to find a Yokomo YZ870c Dogfighter New in Box, was one of the very first people in the UK to buy one of these when new and raced the badword out of it. Scared a lot of Cats and Optima Mid drivers and was one of my all time favorite cars. Kept it for years and lent it to my brother 4 years ago, had a falling out and he has now gone to Australia. I loved that car and would so dearly love to build NIB kit again.

    Thanks if anyone can help.

    Kind Regards
