  1. He does look like Jeff Bridges, but it’s Kurt Russell😂
  2. Progress, Started mounting the seats and driver, the driver is the Marvel Legends Ego figure, I found that these work very well with these smaller bodies. The seats are from an RC4wd Blazer interior that I’d hope it would somewhat fit, but it’s too bulky, I ended cutting it up and using only the seats and part of the dash, basically the part where the steering wheel mounts...
  3. Thanks, Yes, they are awesome looking tires....😁 Yes, they’re both SCX10 based😁
  4. Here’s a pic next to my Bigfoot Tribute sporting some JConcepts Golden Years 2.6 Tires😁
  5. Lovely, just lovely.....I mean, I hate it, send it my way, I’ll dispose of it😁......Awesome work, one of my FAVorite RC cars and I don’t own one😭
  6. I think they’re good looking tires👍
  7. I can lift the whole front end including tires, without detaching the body, I’ll take a video later tonight
  8. I ran them on my other monster truck, and they’re great....size wise, they’re way bigger than Blackfoot/monster beetle tires....Proline makes the 2.2 destroyers, that are a tiny bit smaller than the rangers, but I thing they’re still way to big for the Blackfoot/Beetle. If you get the Midwest wheels and space it properly, you might be able to make them fit on the ORV👍
  9. The suspension links were made using brass and aluminum standoffs, that were meant to be used as mocking links, but I like the way they looked, so I made them all like that..... I went with a lift kit and 100mm RC4WD King Shocks. The Body is being held in place with a set of earth magnets up front, and will be held in place with a magnetic stealth wireless mount😉
  10. Here’s a shot of the bottom of the truck
  11. Having owned a Clodbuster on two separate ocassions, I came to the conclusion that what really attracted me to it, was it’s body...so I decided to build a truck around the body....😁 So I started with a pair of SCX10 chassis rails and aluminum shock mounts. Not wanting to use wideners on stock SCX10 axles, I went with a set of EBay aluminum Wraith axles, metal drive shafts and an SCX10 Transmission.
  12. Didn’t realize the other photos weren’t working...
  13. I’ve wanted to build a larger replica of the Tyco Bandit, and I’ve always liked the pathfinder body that comes on the King Cab... can someone give me some measurements on the body?? Specifically the width front and rear.... thank you
  14. First time I've seen someone else do this to a quick drive, My little brother had a Quick Drive Jeep Wrangler that he discarded, so I put in a Super Hornet transmission on it....Never saw one like it until now....Great Job.... makes me want to buy another one....
  15. Hideous, Send it my way so I can properly dispose of it.... You can never go wrong with a Blackfoot body......Good Job, check out Ampro Engineering accessories for that body, light bar is killer...
  16. Here's a bit of an update, I used servo mounts as shock mounts attached to the transmission brace. I made vertical servo mounts. and 4 linked the transmission.....All this is just preliminary, mocking stage if you will, I'm leaning towards going back to the ladder arms, but we'll see, the vertical servo mounts came out rather nice, and I'm definitely keeping those, the 4 links and shock mounts, I'm still on the fence about them....
  17. FINALLY!!!!! Got my MCI Racing Decals, these guys are awesome by the way.... These are blank Blackfoot decals, that I've switched from red to silver, a sheet of racing numbers, and the look is completed.... finished up the gerry gas cans, and I can honestly say, this is my favorite R/C build so far, it's not the faster, it's not the prettiest, but it's definitely my favorite, maybe a soon to come 4x4 version of this one will be my favorite, until then, this one tops em all....
  18. I’ve always been a fan of the Clodbuster, because of the customization factor, so many variations on the same chassis, it’s crazy....so here’s mi rendering of the Clodbuster..... Had an extra set of SCX10 rails sitting around, so I decided to replicate a lift kit for the SCX10 with these aluminum plates which coincidentally lined up with the SCX10 holes, go figure, it will be 4 linked, with vertically mounted dual servos, working lights, Ampro GMC grill....amongst other things..... Ego will be captain of this rig, still deciding on interior, Recaro seats of RC4WD blazer interior...
