I guess you would do some of your RC shopping at Frankton Models in Hamilton? Not much vintage Tamiya stuff left there anymore! ]

Oops To many names![:I] Well to be honest I have only got paint from him! Also these the Mount hobby shop. 90% I buy from oversea's, e-bay heaps- and Tower hobbies. With the US Dollar it's good buying those expensive bit's, Acorn models I have had all hard luck as every time I want something it's not their- Example The Hauler MFU at acorn is $750- I can get one for $355NZ at the monent. Smaller items not a lot in it. Four Red alloy threaded 100mm oil shocks $43.70NZ to my door-from e-bay, Can't even get two plastic oil shocks for that! So yeah don't buy much here.Do you guys have the same problem or am I shopping at the wrong place's???[xx(]

  3. Well this thread should come in handy- not only for bashing each other[:D] but where do you get most of your RC parts from? Here in NZ their arn't a lot of places as most don't stock a lot of gear! I get mine from e-bay and Tower hobbies. With the dollar at the moment US shopping is great![;)] What's a good online RC shop in Oz? These guy's in the US have a feild day with what's out their for this hobbie. I had trouble just getting Hauler wheel's for my F-350- gave up get them from R and D Trucking here. If you want to check out my Ford go to http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/showthr...8&page=48&pp=25 Tey copy and paste to your address bar. Not sure if I have got this link right?[:I]

  4. Hi All I am new here and are working on a Juggernaut2 to fit on my XC chassis and have a light set for it, Yes I agree why green it is a waste of time and the main lights are little blubs which do heat up!! What I am going to do is make my own with leds and use the battery conector that comes in the kit and run them from there, I have a Mini-z light set that goes from you battery and two wires to your motor, How it works is that it has a control unit with it that when you touch the trigger they come on-take your finger off on the trigger brake lights come (brighten) then after 10 seconds they all turn off if you don't touch the trigger, really good set. When I finish I'll post a video if I can. I am going to add the extra lights in after the control unit.

Heres a pic of what you get in the jug kit. HOW DO YOU ADD A PIC? I click on the link but It just puts img/img? how do you upload your picture?
