[8D] Hi,
I'm new, so please 4give for any typo's and bad descriptions of parts.
I've recently bought a King Blackfoot, and threw out the MSC and replaced it with a ESC from LRP, the Runner Plus reverse Digital.
I'm quite satisfied with the performance of te ESC, [
] but I also installed a Runner Special motor instead of the standard 540.All went well until I had about 5 hours of drivetime (on different days, not in one piece!!)
I was driving in the warehouse where I work (industrial concrete floor), when my car suddenly stopped. After a quick check I noticed the engine was toasted. One of the turns on the anchor had come loose and wound itself between the magnets and the anchor.[V] The guy in the shop said it was because I was "overrevving" the engine. He also claims that it's not included in the warranty[
]So I'm back to my basic 540 (for now).
Has anyone else had this trouble???
And what's the global opinion about LRP motors??
I've discovered that Magnetic Mayhems are very popular with crawlers, but I'm looking for a bit more speed.

Changing standard pinions
in Monster Trucks, 4x4, Wheelie Rigs and Crawlers

Hi guys,
Just a quick question, my KBF (King BlackFoot) has the standard motor pinion (10T) can I change this for a 15T for higher top speed, do I have to change the other gears (diff,..) as well[?]
And do the other gears come in alu or steel (anything but the plastic)
Because the shop guy told me that if I use a faster motor, the teeth of the other gears would come off.
And does anybody know what the max number of teeth is, for a pinion??
