Due to my excellent relationship with Tamiya Japan, I have been able to obtain a copy of the parts list for the Monster Beetle.
Having had a look through it, quite a lot of the parts have new part numbers, so may have had some modifications from the original versions.
I can confirm the use of the Frog Universal Shaft Set.
Any questions please ask.

Hobby Company (Tamiya's UK importer), state end of September for release

My sources have told me, the official announcement on it's release, is this Friday (7th Aug).
I don't have a release date, but probably October.
Let the count down begin................
We will have all parts in stock, as soon as they release them.

After speaking with the MD of the Hobby Company, I can unfortunately confirm they will not be stocking it.
I have agreed with them, I will stock it as a special order.

Hi Guys,
Great news for all you Tamiya fans. My health has stabilised and I will be continuing with my Tamiya Parts business. My doctors have altered my existing tablets and given me a new one, so my kidney function has recovered a little. Dialysis might be longer away in the future, then I first thought.
I will be starting new listings again, over the next few weeks.
I can also special order parts, again, for anyone who wants me to.

News Update,
Official worldwide release date is 27th June.
Unfortunately at the moment, the kit is not going to be imported in to the UK.
I'm currently working on the Hobby Company to bring it in, there concern is the availability of spares going forward.
I will certainly be keeping the spares for it, when they become available

Hi Guys.
I'm afraid I have some incredibly bad news for all you Tamiya Fans.
It is with heavy heart, I have to close my ebay parts business. Unfortunately as many of you are aware, my health has been very up and down over the past 15 years (Kidney failure, then two transplants). My health has now started to fail again and I'll be needed dialysis and another transplant in the near future.
My ebay store with close at the end of June.
If anyone is interested in buying the stock I have or the whole business, please PM me.
I will also be liquidating some of my own personal collection of cars. Watch out for them on ebay. There will be many TRF, TB Evo and Vintage cars for sale.
I will stay active with Tamiya club.

Ron, is a legend within the Tamiya collector community. At one point he had every Tamiya RC car released, new in box. He sold most off about 4-5 years ago. He obviously kept a few cherished early ones.
I have dealt with him many times over the years and he is a true gent.

Can anyone identify this chassis??
It looks like a Holiday Buggy, Sand Rover one, but has some differences. is it after market, maybe prototype??
There are no ribs inside the tub and none on the bottom.
