  1. From dealing in Tamiya spares for the past 8 years, most of the above shows up a few times a year on ebay.

The hardest parts to find I believe are:

    Clear/transparent chassis for the TL01

    Clear/transparent chassis for M03

    Clear/transparent gear boxes for TA03

    plus certain 49xxx parts

  2. Hi,

I just revived my vintage Rothmans Porsche 956. Due to over 20 years in storage the original foam tires have cracked. However, the car runs like a dream. I am looking for a set of replacements.

Could someone point me in the right direction? I will be running the car on asphalt.

    the sizes are as follows:

    front: 25/48 mm

    rear: 35/53 mm

    thanks.

With the Release of the RM-01 chassis, the wheels and tyres look the same as used on your 956:

    Part numbers are:

    Wheel Set 51482

    Ft Tyres 51483

    Rr Tyres 51484

According to Tamiya Japan, they will be available from the 17th December.

  3. I checked this tonight a little bit more. I was attempting to ANYTHING to keep the ball rolling on this resto but I couldn't find anything associated with this part on the car. I'm guessing that since the Boomerang and the Big Wig shared parts that that piece might be for a Big Wig. It doesn't fit anywhere.

Here are a couple of pics:

and the backside of the tree:

So the Boomerang sits forlornly as it waits on parts from the other side of the world because I'm an idiot.

But on the happier side of the street, the radio and receivers arrived today!

    More to come... someday!

I can confirm that is the B Parts sprue of the Bigwig, usually comes with the Bumper (As does the Boomerang B parts)

BigWig B parts are worth a serious about of money, complete they sell for around £30-35 on ebay.

  5. Frog CVDs & hex adaptors, FAV shocks set and SRB balldiff are brandnew option parts, never offered back in the (original) day.

So far none of the original option parts have been remade.

What about the Avante Steering Set, Ball Diff/Torque Splitter and Ti Screw Sets?? Those have been, or are to be released
