My dad wants to sell his Tamiya TT01 XB. Its a subaru with the CPU and an acoms servo, tamiya motor and 1500nicd

Not selling right now but may be if things happen.
Can I ask, just how much I can expect to recieve for a good condition TB Evolution III Surikarn Edition with all the red anodised parts in good condition. Will include acoms radio gear, nosram international and 3x gp3300s if someone wanted to get started in racing, would be an awesome racing car.

My tb evo iii differential sounded awful so i decided to clean it out, once finished i tried putting it back together but couldnt, the cap screw couldnt reach the nut, upon looking in the manual i realised a small plastuc part was missing which the nut drops into, can u seal the diff back up without this plastic part?

I had this aswell and I found the pinion had slipped and was moving about with the spur, check its tightened

Used from a club member, I got a steal this week by getting a TB Evo III Surikarn Edition for £100! I also own a TT-01 the car will still be raced but the Surikarn will be the top race car, parts are quite available as the suspension is from the TA04 and Diff from the TB02, look for a car a member is selling and you could probably get a good deal.

Will be getting a used surikarn evo III edition in 3weeks after my holidays.l I will probably take the car apart and clean eveythign out and am just wondering why I cant find any of the surikarn parts as spares there all silver or green. Do they sell things like the red anodized universals or not?

Need help with my tt-01, i had various problems with my pinion falling off as i changed my gears around, after glued the grub screw on a new problem aros, everytime i quickly accelrate or go into reverse someting makes a very loud clicking sound and then stops when the car does, its very annyoing and doesn't sound too good, any tt-01 owners or anyone know what the problem could be

Many universal shafts have been on the net made by square, tech racing and surely others. finally Tamiya have a set of universal shafts for the TT-01, I hope to be buying them for my TT-01, the numbers are 53792 for the shafts, search on ebay stores and you should find them.

Well I', glad, while ordering some hop ups for my tt-01 for next year when I start racing my sdad had a look at the GPM shocks but I decided to say no and wait till I have enough for the TRF shocks. Luckily I didn't order them. As for the car not gripping, add some spacers to get the car lower to the ground which may help it hug the carpet more.

What gearing do tt-01 racers use, im racing on a carpet track with foams, 2 medium length straights (10m) and wonder'd what others are running

Have ordered ball bearings the other night, just bought a pro-peak varipulse and got some foams (42shore front, 37shore rear) and hopefully getting a Nosram tomahawk esc and will be all ready to go on my local carpet track

im not planning on doing this but doesn't anyone run a brushless in there tamiya tl01, tb01, tt01 or any other tamiya touring car

Finished building the TT-01 kit yesterday and had a bit of a problem with servos but thats fixed and took her out for the first spin with the clear unpainted bodyshell, to be painted soon. It was good, not a great top speed, like the acceleration and I drifted without even trying so not a bad car overall. Im thinking of installing either a P2K2 or RS540 Sport Tuned Motor, a 20t esc, aliminium prop shaft and possible a ball bearing set if I can be bothered to install them. What do you think of the TT-01 and what will it be like with the hop-ups im adding. Will post a pic soon

We just took out the servos and put them back and just had a fiddle around and it looks like its workingnow, ill try later today when the batteries fully charged

Yes I do turn the transmitter on first. This really annoys me and I may just sell it off, I may aswell as Ive been swindled out of 120 pound and my birthday present, what a great day all thanks to tamiya.

Me and my dad put together my tt01 kit and got it ready for a little spin and as I turn the car on it immediately goes to forward and the servo moves to put on throttle without me even touching the controller, what could the problem be? Its very irritating this being the first car Ive built

I have Been looking at my tt01 instruction manual. My tt01 kit comes with an MSC and I had to buy the radio set spare so i have 2 servos. When I look in the guide it has a cpu with an esc so I dont think it will show how to install my msc and 2 servos! I need help, is this a serious problem?

you mean mechanical, it comes with a mechanical speed controller. I think he may have thought I was keeping the MSC as he said do you have an electronic speed controller and I may have said no so maybe thats why. Thanks anyway, Ill get building it on thursday, my birthday [

I have just ordered a tt01 kit and went into my local hobby shop the day after I ordered it and asked about motors. The guy said anything lower than 27t will kill the car, is this true? I hope not
