Brat Attacks

Boys sorry if you think l am having a dig at you for the lack of photos after a KB (I'm really NOT having a "dig" l can assure you) and asking you to all stop having fun and get out your cameras but there used to be a mass of KB action photos on TC after one and its photos that sell a bash. Just look at the Eb and North West Nutters for action photos. Anyway the pictures posted up on this forum look fantastic. Once l get sorted l am sure Mr Pushrod, woman and I will be joining you all soon at Pendenheath.

I'm up to my oily arms working on this graduation VW camper pressie to myself to be able to get there this time but l do plan on coming to at least one KB in 2009 before the bus drains my account of cash and l need to sell EVERYTHING. smb P.S. photos?? Anyone ever heard of photos?? There are usually several entries of KB photos. Where are they Chris?? Did you not mention that you had a new camera??

What a total ****a that no one turned up. That has to be a first in KB history so come on lads don't let it happen again. I was out of the area that weekend so unable to make it and it seems l am unable to do anything for November and December due to weekends being busy looking for a VW camper van. Now that will be a great base for repairing broken models at a KB....rain or shine......roll on the right van!!!!! smb

You boys and girls enjoy the 28th. I've now got a photoshoot with the 504 on Sunday for Practical Classics magazine so it's going to be a sober weekend for me. So Here is hoping for top notch weather for both parties. And post some pictures or a movie....where is the one from the last KB Chris?? smb

Hi all Shame l couldn't attend this one. Car club stuff prevented me attending and my diary is booked with a party for the night before the next one so l won't be there either. Double bummer really if it's a beach meet. I've not used the Pirelli Bug for almost 2 years!!! Looking forward to seeing the pictures though. And come to think of it, where are the pictures for the last one?? 3 days on and nothing up!!! smb

The AA seemed to have no problem in finding my Golf in this place. l gave them a call on the mobile and they knew exactly where to find me!!!!! Speaking of Golf l also think l have wrecked my RC Golf too!!!!! So it wasn't a very friendly VW meet. That said Barbra's Beetle came home in one piece including ribbons. With regards to the turn out, well 3 isn't bad l suppose when you condsider its been 8 months since we all last met and no doubt probably wouldn't recognise each other. Anyone who has a date and a place, post it up. Lets make this a free for all!!!!! Everything REALLY is broken now..... Stuart

How long has it been???? Seems like years since l charged up some packs and then....oh l don't know. Anyway l popped into see Nathan while on route to Folkstone this weekend and KB came up in conversation along with fast bikes and cla$$ic car shows that now seem to have really kicked off big style thanks to the now skin blistering suns arrival from behind the grey mostly moist clauds. What was suggested should please most; Across the way is a Tesco's and after 4pm on a Sunday it becomes empty and makes for an idea drift site + whatever else you have that runs fast!!!!! Nathan and l are going to be there (weather permitting for me) from 4pm on September 2nd. It is a bit of a drive away from the original KB sites that Christopher found being in Tenterden but as most of you are from or near Kent, it isn't very far. Come off at the Ashford turn, head straight to Tenterden, Left at the "Super Store" sign and your there. 11 wonderful sweeping country road miles from the M20. I've never had so much screaming from the 504's tires that l may bring it again with me Let me know what you think. smb

I'm up for a meet but can't commit for the month of July as l am on placement and have to work some weekends. l do however plan on going to the beach to test run the improved Sand Rover in a few weeks on a Saturday so l will post up here when l plan on going down there. smb

So what's happening next Sunday?? l am in France on Saturday doing the engine oil cruise (so much cheaper out there than we get it here) so Sunday is free for me. smb

Re Quarry wood. "The still undiscoverd KB area" It's a shame we can't get there anymore because of the parking Nazi's but l am sure there must be another parking area near there. Where the badword do all those dog walkers come from?? There is a road that runs around it that l discovered on my wanderings with Helen but l have no idea where it all goes. l tried to check the area out with Google Earth but there are vast areas of the garden of England that don't show a clean image. As a by the by, you can clearly see my Golf parked in my road with this. It's rather spooky. smb
