  1. I agree with Twinset and Rotor, I get more enjoyment out of building the kit than actually running it. I'm all for building opposed to storing. The kits I do have in the box are all on the schedule to be built. There is ONE kit I have that I can't bring myself to take the shrinkwrap off though. My Losi Junior T has survived so long untouched. I just wouldn't feel right putting it together. Now I'm on the lookout for a new built or a runner so I can re-live running an early stadium truck again.
  2. I can't believe all my scores are still up there
  3. they might be a better fit for the Stampede. The T/E-Maxx is more like a small 1/8 than a regular 1/10.
  4. I'm surprised a Holiday Buggy/Sand Rover isn't in the works. They're probably really cheap to make since they're mostly plastic, are actually functional off road, and they look great. Those two would be great for the collector/shelf queen side, and the runner side of the hobby!
  5. Are the Group C cars coming to the states at all? Tamiya uSA doesn't have them listed yet. I really want one, but I don't want to pay the shipping from stella or hk cowboy. I'd rather give the money to my LHS. Does Tamiya have any plans for selling them in my part of the world?
  6. Another good use of the views would be a statistic on each model's page. Maybe a 4th box containing something like "total views for model type (Dyna Storm, for example)." And "average views per entry." Just another idea to pass around. I like the top 50 average views idea though too.
  7. They should include the powerstrokes. Those are the main selling point of the Pro.
  8. try dialing in the Dual/Rate on your transmitter. The radius won't be as tight, but it'll be a lot more controllable throughout the entire turning range.
  9. 6 or 7 years ago I was watching David Letterman with a couple of my friends. In that night's top 10 list, "top 10 ways to make tennis more exciting," the number one answer was "more splosions." The next day I needed to think of a handle in a paintball game. Sploder was born from that. unfortunately, nobody can spell or pronounce sploder, so I had to add an a. Now I'm sploader.
  10. Tamiya could put the Pug body on a TNX chassis with skinny futuristic wheels! I believe I have seen the model you're talking about though 89. I just can't remember who has it.
  11. Looks almost like a kyosho shell. Worthless, I'll give you your $20 back for the whole lot. []
  12. I agree with smallman. Try for a finished body tt-01. Painting the body is by far the hardest part of build. The chassis is painfully easy to assemble, so it's great for a beginner. It makes the tl-01, which it basically replaces, look like a difficult undertaking by comparison. As far as hop-ups go, the tt-01 has a ton of hop ups. Also, as smallman said, since you didn't finish your first car, it may be better to get an XB rtr package. It's the exact same chassis as the kit version, but it's pre-assembled with a finished body and electronics. That being said, If you really want to continue in the hobby, I'd build the kit myself. Plus, building the kit will give you the experience to take on building a more competition worthy chassis, like the tb-02 or the ta-05.
  13. Excellent. Now I need to decide on the model. I think my scooby would really fit the competition... The Lightning, C5-R Corvette, or Wild Willy 2 might be better since they're american cars. Decisions decisions...
  14. about how much do you think it would be to ship it to the uS?
