Thanks for the advice guys, put the three coats of pearl on last night. Put on a couple of coats of red after that....not a bad result...made the red a little too "candy apple" for my liking but hey...should look dynamite with the white.

You could try testing it on a scrap of lexan first to see how it looks? id="quote">id="quote">Neil nice paint on the s2000...kinda of what I'm hoping for with the touareg.

  4. I'm trying to source a driver and navigator pair of rally style figurines for the cockpit of my Touareg, and can't seem to locate anything in the parts section of the Tamiya site. Anyone have any suggestions?
  5. I'm just about to start the paint work on my new Touareg, using a red and white paint scheme (PS-2 + PS-1). I also purchased can of Pearl clear paint. My hope is the pearl clearcoat wll give the colors added "pop" and depth. Does anyone have experience using the pearl clearcoat, is it worthwhile, and how many coats should be applied before applying the PS-1 and PS-2? Cheers
