  1. Hi all, i have a very hopped up TT01 and was wondering if it is possible to convert it to run off road? Not asking it to climb mountains but something along the lines of a stadium blitzer will do nicely!Just wondering if its possible and if it is i may give it a go, im not after any permanent changes to the chassis though! Wondering what wheels/tyres will be up to the job, power aint a problem as it has loads! I appreciate any ideas/advice. Many Thanks. Modelmaniac[}]
  2. Put the original diffs back in, much better indeed, thanks! Trying to decide where to try out my new VW Toureg, had a quick demo in my lounge but it rolls easily if you are heavyhanded with the throttle!! Nice car though and great as you can lock the rear diff!!! Wondering what other shells would look good though, any ideas? modelmaniac [}]
  3. I originally bought my TT01 as i really fancied the Skyline shell! Out of the box it was fine though the first things to consider are the shaft and bearings, mine is hopped up to the max but i recently got hold of a ball diff, fitted it, but didnt really notice any improvement. It seems to run better with the std diffs as i heard that unless your using it on a track you dont benefit,is this true? modelmaniac[}]
  4. No need to sound so sarcastic! I was only giving my opinion as to how good a tto1 can be when some money is spent on it! modelmaniac

  7. [8D] hi, i have a tto1 also and have recently finished hopping up. Currently i have Tamiya super mod 11t motor Nosram NoLimit ESC Alluminium Prop Shaft " Heat Sink " Steering Assembly " Front and Rear Knuckles " Upper Arms " Hex Nuts Ball Raced all round Carbon Upper Frame Blue Titanium Oil Shocks Yokomo Semi Slick Tyres (due to nasty weather! usually run Racing Radials!!!!) The tto1 is quite a car, yet knocked in other forums as being basic! I agree you have to buy quite a few parts to unleash its potential but what the badword!!!! Anyone else agree/disagree? modelmaniac [}]
