Post Your Pic - What Do You Look Like?
modelmaniac replied to JohnLunchBox's topic in Anything not RC related goes here
Ok, well here is my submission. My good lady and I at our wedding reception 10th September 2005. (and still going strong!) Cheers -
most glued tyres will come with inserts already fitted. Though you can buy tonnes of rims, tyres and inserts all seperately so that you can find something you prefer. The bearings are spot on by the way, its pretty much the first hop-up you should consider. Cheers Modelmaniac[6]

hi mate, ballrace bearings are smooth metal bearings that replace the standard white ones supplied with most kits. They come with all kits, 2wd and 4wd and replacing them with the metal type offers noticebly better speed and smoother accelaration and a much smoother ride as there is less friction. Also they are "ready greased" so their easier to install. Hope this helps! Cheers modelmaniac[6]

hi mate, welcome to the hobby![H] There is loads of useful info on here and digging around past topics will reveal loads but the main bits of advice are. 1. any 1/10 touring car wheels/tyres will fit as long as they have a hex fitting. But be aware that the tt01 chassis is a little bit on the low side for extreme off road use.You can pick up wheels with rally tyres already glued on, cheap from ebay. 2. start with basic hop-ups such as ballrace bearings, alloy prop shaft, metal motor mount and a heatsink to keep the motor cool. 3. most touring car oil shocks will fit, i have got blue alloy oil shocks on one of my tt01's, their made by CARSON and i picked a set up for £14.99 from my local model shop. Any other queries, let us know cos we all had to ask at some point![] cheers modelmaniac[6]

Just like to say thanks to: Bangstick, PeterCabrio, Jamadz and James (Desert Gator) sorry mate i forgot your user name! All these guys are great, i never traded before but traded with all these guys in one week!!! Nice one! Modelmaniac[6]
