  1. Hey guys I'm trying to put together a Franken-Scorcher but still need a few bits. I'm after the clear gear and motor covers and (I know this is a long shot) a scorcher body, don't mind the condition but preferably not a basket case. Cheers Neil
  2. Hi, treated myself to a HB2010 at Xmas which my 6 year old Son has since commandeered as his! He’s used and abused the buggy, frying the Tamiya esc by driving through puddles, splitting the wheel arch but we’ve both had such a good time and it’s bought back memories of me and my dad back in the 80’s finding areas of woodland to run my falcon, sorry about getting all nostalgic! I do have a question, I’ve picked up a second HB2010 for me and was wondering if its safe to encase the Tamiya ESC in a balloon for wet weather driving? It will be running a silver can 540. Thanks Neil
  3. Hi, I’m after a Holiday Buggy 2010. I don’t need electrics and as its for my 6 year old son, I don’t mind a few scratches! Thanks Neil (Kencocat)
  4. Hi, I’ve been trying to get an original Hotshot to run with no luck, first couple of attempts the servos moved very slowly but now there’s nothing, the hotshot’s dead. I started checking the electrics and found the component circled in the photo appears to have ‘blown’ so I assume that’s the problem. I’ve been looking on ebay for the switch assembly with no luck. Could anyone here id the component in the photo? I haven’t got a clue! Thanks Neil
  5. Wow! thanks for all the info guys. I'll post some pics when they arrive. Cheers Neil
  6. Hi all, I’ve just picked up a Ranger XLT off Ebay and apart from the obvious, what are the differences between the Ranger and the Sand Scorcher? With minimal mods are the bodies interchangeable and has anyone here tried the Ranger body on the CC01 jeep chassis? Here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT Cheers Neil (Kencocat)
  7. Thank you for the replies Regressing! and Tamiyoman. Tamiyoman I did check your Ebay listings, the only part you have listed is the uprights, sc-88 I believe. Oh well, I hope your box of scorpion goodies turns up something! Thanks Neil
  8. Hi, I know this is a long shot but does anyone have the right hand side (looking at the front of the buggy) lower arm assembly for the Kyosho Tomahawk/Scorpion spare. The wife binned my original after I left it unattended on the kitchen windowsill! The bits I need are all the parts circled in the picture but for the other side. Thanks Neil
  9. Hi, does anyone have a set of F and R parts (wishbones) for the Hotshot 1 preferably used to match the rest of the buggy. I'm also after a body/wing from the original not the re-re in fair condition (the cars a runner). Thanks Neil
  10. Hi, Well I made a bit of a mess repairing my Fav chassis around the suspension uprights area; the hood will now need modifying to fit. So does anyone have either a FAV hood/bonnet or a chassis their willing to part with? If the chassis needs repairing or has been repaired thats not a problem as long as the hood fits and the same goes for the hood. I do remeber some Repro hoods on Ebay a while back, does anyone know who did these? Thanks Neil
  11. Oh well, not fast enough hitting the BIN button. I guess it shows there are still bargains to be had though!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-x-Tamiya-radio-con...1QQcmdZViewItem Kencocat
  12. Hi, I'm Looking for a Hotshot 1 thats in fair condition. I've just had this massive urge to own a hotshot thats a bit tatty (not a basket case) to tinker with on these dark evenings. There doesnt seem to be many on Ebay lately. I'm also after a used body for my Manta ray, don't mind if its a manta, dirt thrasher or Terra conquer body shell it's for my 5 year old daughters runner/basher. Thanks and Merry Christmas! Neil
  13. Hi I'm after a pair of front FAV/Rough Rider wheels and tyres. Used is ok, they're for a runner. Thanks Kencocat
  14. Hi all, I know this is bit of a long shot, but I'm after a well worn/rough Fast Attack Vehicle. I don't mind a box of bits as long as most of the buggy is there. So if anyone here has one that they want to off load please let me know. Cheers Neil
