Hi guys, I have a TT01 which i think has the gear upgrade (which i got from tamiyamonkey) and a TB01 which i won on ebay a while ago now both have standard 540's in but the TT01 is a lot faster! the TB01 just runs out of steam very fast, it accelerates to top speed super quick but the top end is very poor! i have a pic of the gear on the TB01 but it has no markings? could anyone work out from this pic what turn it may be? also what is the idea turn for a TB01 Both are ballraced Cheers

Oh how time have changed since i was a kid, the betteries now last 6 times as long as my old ones and they charge faster too! but until today that was pretty good but after i won a 19turn Flux motor on ebay a few months ago i got round to fitting it today, i think the car already had the 19 turn gear on so i put that on the 19 turn motor and went for a blast. Ohhhhhh my how much faster was it! i nearly distroyed my car on the first go lol I mean i know ppl on here will go faster than that but man i could not stop laughing! i have not seen one as fast neither had my mates. All i have to say is thanks to the people on here i have got parts from and thanks to ebay for getting my cars back running and thanks to modern technology! one more thing i now need harder surspention!

I know what you are both saying on road it wants to flip you all the time and push the car but off road its great just brute force behind the wheels its great! Cheers for the helps guys

I may do the old frog mod but is that not the same as a Brat gearbox anyway? (the original one), can you still buy the original brat gears, as they have a gold bit that goes into the cog that the drive shafts fit into and i cannot find one of them on ebay as i would just do that... if anyone know what i am on about do you know where i can get one or a part number? if i am to use the new frog re re parts can some one point me in the right direction i am pretty sure i have them on ebay but there looks to be full kits and half kits and some sells just selling cogs?... I have loads of original Brat cogs around some of which have never been used?.... (infact i will get a pic of them all to so you guys) Cheers oh i have already ordered somw new side plates anyway will strip it down at the weekend

Hi guys i have an original Blaster along with a beetle and Brat, but the blaster is running soooo slow in comparisons to the brat i mean its hardley moving (about 5mph) when on the ground if i go from reverse to forwards i get loads of clicking noise from either the wheels or the gear box?... if i hold the wheels off the ground and do the same it runs fine (no clicking anyway) is this a good sign the gears are gone?.... if not has anyone had the same? I am going to strip it back down again in the next few days so a heads up would be nice if i need some new parts... another things is it also goes much faster in reverse than in forwards?...... Cheers.....

I am also using them (cheers evirob) i will have a look at the travel tomorrow i am sure you get fully travel and very good absorbtion (if thats a real word?..) of the bumps, this will depend on which spring you use?. I have used the red spring as it is the softest of the 3 provided.

Afternoon everyone as the title and description says really, i have put a few posts up on here lately and ment some superb people willing to do some great offers on what is old/unused equiptment... So to them i say thankyou.. Now i thought i would give this a try before i went to modelsport and spent a fortune. If people have an used charger like the Pro-Peak 2500 AC/DC Charger or any batteries that still have plenty of use left in them (around 3000mah) drop me an email. Also i am in need of another ESC for my drift car which i am about to master Cheers for looking

Thanks yes the chassis is in really good condition! there is next to no marks on it.... Also could i ask what is peoples opinions on the gearing setups? it looks like this is setup as described in the manual, is there a better option and is there a prefered motor upgrade i could use i have a few motors around?

thanx for the help there some great info well now the rear sits higher well heres some pics. Also in the pics is my TT01 which is now to become a drift car. I have never tried drifting so should be fun once it stops raining! Also i have no idea why there is paint on the wheels? may be it was to help with drifting? and i have no idea what type of wheels they are?...

Wooo it came with one and its in superb nik! just stripped it all down today besides the gearboxes and cleaned it all up and reset all the cambers correctly and its mint! I did notice a couple of thing if anyone can help? 1st was that the rear surspension was super low even more so than the front? so i altered the shocks but i still did not have full travel of the arms so i altered theend connection to one of the ends off the steering lol it fils perfectly and gave me the extra height i needed... 2nd is the car is louder than my TTO1 both are ballraced but if i push my TT01 its real easy and really quirt but the TB01 is louder and has a more stubern movement. Could there be a reason for this or is that how they are due to them been built more towards rallying? Like i say i did not take the gearboxes apart is there anything fundemental that goes wrong with these chassis that i should watch out for? I will wait for the weather to pick up before i run it but i will post some pics up for you all as i know they speak louder than words. Cheers for the help

Am going to give it ago without them in, i can see it been better that way and also i used the red spings on the shocks evirob they seem to take gravel and jumps better and yet keep it firm when turning...
