I no this is an old post but what a great read and great restore! i am currently starting a Stadium Blitzer restore myself and you have helped me so much with the tips you pointed out cheers and congratulations on a super restore! i hope mine can live up to this!

Guys i also need the gear case motor cover and a shock spring stay, the part that slides on to the top of the shocker and stops it flying off

Hi all for the past couple well few months i have been trying to find time to restore an ebay purchase. This Blitzer was listed incorreclty on ebay as a Falcon probably because of the tub stamp but i only payed £21 with delivery so i was very happy with the purchase. i have had it several months but finding the time has been a nightmare but due to me been ill i have started restoring and stripping it. The car is in very good condition for what i paid there is only one crack on the entire chassis and thats the top of one of the suspenstion towers other than that all is good. the chassis is missing Three parts though the battery stay and and the front bumper original springs for the front and the spring stay the previous owner just used an old washer to stop the spring flying off.
The chassis came with a shell but i am unsure which one it is maybe a Dual Hunter? or a Proline Crowd Pleazer? although the paint job is done to a good standard its not for me i want this to be jet black so i am going to Screw Fix to get some Desolve it graffiti remover to try and get the paint off.... the wheels are Dyna Blaster wheels i am gussing these were added to the chassis as only the Chrome Blitzer Beetle cam with these wheels... all be it thay are pretty beat so i have replaced the rears with original white wheels (a steal off ebay 42p) and i think the fronts need doing also. The rear tyres look ok to me they are Schumacher vee 4's but i need some foam inserts!. The gearbox is perfect all the cogs are fine not a mark on them!
anyways here some pics, they are off my camera phone so they are not the best guys....
This bumper came screwed to the chassis and i no it not for this car and i have seen one on ebay recently but forgot the name can anyone tell me what its from?
As you can see the wheels do not fit the previous owner has stuck 3 bearings in there to fill the gap and i must say it fits spot on! but i need new wheels...
this is the bodgy i have used to secure the cracked mount and i must say its worked a treat its not the prettist or the most stuttle fix but its worked the best!

I need a front suspension stay the bit that slids on and keeps the spring secure
A original set of springs for the front - or i may upgrade them - can anyone recommend a set?
What are the best foam inserts to buy am scanning ebay atm...
Front Wheels - I would like original ones but i have seen a lot of the HPI ones on ebay and liking them but they are all 2.2 (rear fit) can anyone tell me which are 2.0 (front fit)

The front wheels dont fit the shaft i take it this is becasue they are for the dyna blaster?
In the future i plan to fix the front toe in when the suspension is compressed ive seen a fix some where i just cant remember where??? ill find it though....
get the body stripped and paint black or blue.... i just seen back to the future and his black toyota pick up ummmmm....
get a big motor in there to wheely then bash it lol

also guys does anyone have any spare shock tops you no the ones you slide on to the top of the sock to stop the spring flying off... i have just found that the previous user was using a rusty washer lol

Howdy and merry xmas to you all, i have started some of my winter projects which i had stored up all summer and am in need of 2 parts from my stadium blitzer i need a front bumber and the battery stay/holder
if anyone has either or both of the above parts and would like to sell them please drop me a PM or a reply on here

Guys I no this topic is regarding the rere truck but does anyone know the part number or tree number for the front bumper as I need one to complete my restore, also do any other models share this bumper despite the obvious one ;-)

Hi to all.... i am wanting a new project for the winter and i am loving all your pictures and vids of blitzer beetles and stadium blitzers ect.... an i now find myself wanting one also.... I am not after spending a fortune here just one that runs or needs a lil tlc it will be a runner like all my cars, so if anyone has one they want to part with drop me a PM or reply

I no this is an old post but can someone just clarify what you mean by 'check it in?' do you mean take it as hand luggage and put it through scanner? or pre check it in some how?
Also did you put your batteries and charger in your hand luggage or case? and one final thing are they OK with the batteries on the plane? i would of never dared take mine... but i just may now

hmmm it depends how your tests go there are a lot of devoted FF01 guys on here i been one and the fact i keep having to buy a full tree is annoying lol..... but i hope the trial goes well mate...

Howdo everyone not been on for a while been soooo busy but i managed to get to use some of the good old RC cars the other day but the unfortunate thing is...... within one battery i managed to break my servo stay on my Mud Blaster and the front suspension mount on my TB01
Can anyone recommend a good replacement servo stay for the blaster i thought the one i had on was the heavy duty one but obviously not heavy enought lol
Also My poor TB01 got a bashing too i hit a wall and smashed the front suspension mount... this chassis has been solid until this i am quite surprised it broke but then again brink vs plastic what did i expect lol.... So can anyone tell me what a replacement part number is for a front susspension mount or the tree part number? i think it could be tree part E but am not sure???
any help would be great because EBay is looking bland at the mo?.......

Yeah i got it open guys it was filthy gave it a good clean and put it back together can i ask is the diff bolt ment to be screw totally tight or left loose a little when total tight i get no movement but when a little loose the joints move very freely in all directions?
