i have just bought a second hand M-tronics Sprint Sonik 3. have been told that there is only one problem. for some reason it doesn't spin his motor very fast. It does power up, do the beeping, the led's all come up nicely, steering works, and it does put power to the motor, but it doesn't spin as fast as he thinks it should. will post for info when i receive it. anyone know ahts wrong if anything? also does anyone know where i can download a manual from?

i used a vacum forming machine at work. it is easy, it all depends on the detail of the shell and the material you use. have a word with the supplier and tey will point you in the best direction of material and detail of the shell you are trying to make

yes this motor is a 23 turn. i am looking at esc's myself and have been told not to really bother with them. have a search on here in forums and you shoud find sound advice about esc's

i would tend to go for the TL01 chassis as it is good for beginners and intermidiate drivers. there are hop-ups for it and is 4wd and i found easy to build and maintain. what ever car you go for try and get one with an electric speed controler rather than mech as mech can be a right pain plus u loose power with them
