  2. i have just bought a second hand M-tronics Sprint Sonik 3. have been told that there is only one problem. for some reason it doesn't spin his motor very fast. It does power up, do the beeping, the led's all come up nicely, steering works, and it does put power to the motor, but it doesn't spin as fast as he thinks it should. will post for info when i receive it. anyone know ahts wrong if anything? also does anyone know where i can download a manual from?

  3. yeah it's the stuff off ebay that moulds with heat. will be trying it soon for the lights so will let everyone know if it's a good way of doing it. i sure hope it is! i just got to try and find my hot melt glue and gun(think it's buried somewhere in shed).

  5. if you need any help with any sort of electronics mate, email this address.

    chem-electronics@bristol.ac.uk

they will get back to u about a day and are excellent help. i am in the process of making my own led head/tail lights for my car and they helped with the resistors i will need and that. they wont let you down mate.

  6. i used a vacum forming machine at work. it is easy, it all depends on the detail of the shell and the material you use. have a word with the supplier and tey will point you in the best direction of material and detail of the shell you are trying to make

  7. the servo on the msc keeps pusching it over the plate so at full throttle it just stops but work in reverse throttle. have tried all i have to set it up to run in both directions but nothing i do works, HELP?

the acoms receiver i have with it uses AS-7 servos. is the anyway of changing them servos to AS-12 without changing receiver?

  8. i would tend to go for the TL01 chassis as it is good for beginners and intermidiate drivers. there are hop-ups for it and is 4wd and i found easy to build and maintain. what ever car you go for try and get one with an electric speed controler rather than mech as mech can be a right pain plus u loose power with them

  9. i have a sport tuned 23 turn motor on my TL01 chassis car. might soon be buying a 19 turn motor. my car is fitted with stabilizer kit, speed tuned gears. the problem is i am looking to upgrade from a mech speed contol to elec and dont know which one is best for me. i want it to be forward and reverse and reverse to be able to be disabled. i have a budget of around £45 and this must include delivery. i am in the city of ely in the uk.
