  1. It appears after nearly 4 years a resolution has been reached, a body is nearly ready to be sent back although with serious imperfections .
  2. I enjoy building my r/c models. I don't enjoy running them. I enjoy spending lots of money on fancy fully functional r/c models. I don't enjoy running them. I enjoy staring at my fancy r/c models. I don't enjoy running them. I enjoy building and shelving my vintage r/c models. I don't enjoy running them. That is why I'm a "shelfer". Although, I do have a few "demo" models available for the curious.
  3. Stellamodels answered me back, they don't carry metal tracks for the JS-2. Any ideas where I can find some or if Tamiya makes any even ? I'm not familiar with Impact or Mato ?
  4. For those interested in the 6x6 Cross-RC Truck Series, Stellamodels has started to stock all three: http://www.stellamodels.com.hk/cross-c-225_330.html I snagged the last in stock of the XC6A 6x6 - . Sipped via EMS so truck and MFC-03 should be here soon. Unfortunately still waiting for the Futaba 4YWD Attack 2.4 ghz Radio to come back in stock anywhere .
  5. Enjoy your freedom ! Thanks for the wonderful contributions. (I also, will be taking an extended break I foresee).
  6. Well, it isn't the big Capo 8x8 beast but just pulled the trigger on the smaller 6x6: Plans include the new MFC-03 Euro and possibly a winch.
  7. In my haste I had it all hooked up prior to programming. Done, already ordered. Thanks fellas.

  9. I've just built an XV-01 with a Flysky FSIT4 Radio/receiver, Futaba 3010 Servo and Team Powers brushless/esc combo. Sensored 13.5 turn motor. I've installed and programmed everything , during programming the motor had the sensor wire running from the motor to esc. During installation the sensor wire was too short. So, it is now installed without the sensor wire running form the motor to the esc BUT still appears to run fine. So, my question is: Is that right ? Why is it required in the first place or have I not programmed it correctly ? Cheers.
  10. Guess I was lucky ! Mine arrived today .
  11. Todays delivery: Fire Dragon Re Release (JR-RC) XV-01 Pro Chassis (Stellamodels) Team Powers Brushless Motor/ESC (Stellamodels) So, what has the Postman brought you today ?
  12. I can't seem to find on Tamiya USA a JS-2 specific metal track. Are they interchangeable with others ? Should I be looking at Tamiya made metal tracks or are others available ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

  22. Don't know a thing about Tamiya Tanks but just ordered the Complete Full Option JS-2 Kit. Here: http://www.tamiya.com/japan/products/56034js_2/index.htm Aside from ball bearings, anything "must have" to enhance performance or "coolness" ? I think I'll have just one tank , so I may skip the infrared battle system, is that difficult to add after assembly if I change my mind ?
  23. Scale junky ? How about a driver that shifts gears and presses the gas pedal in your interior of your vehicle: Challenge has been made for this to be outdone !
